Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays technology has been developed a lot. Most of the people use advertising agencies to show their business an the product which they are selling in adds they show only good part of products and present their products according to they want.so in my opinion it has a lot of negative impacts than the positive effects.
As soon as technology is growing its useful and negative impacts also increasing.if we talk about our topic development has great impact on businesses also. Many businesses are going online and selling their products to that people who are living away from their business places. Initially thay made adds from advertising agencies and publish them on their social media accounts so the people who are interested to buy their products can easily see the shape, size and the price of their products.
But it has many negative effects like advertising agencies represent that product more beautiful than the real so the customer which are buying that online see only the beauty of product not ensure its quality so it leads to buy that product which don't have good quality. Another negative impact that advertisement is increasing day buy day .On social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Tiktok adds produce troubleness to watching or finding the video or page who actually they want
So at last it is concluded that advertising agencies illustrate the products and businesses more beautiful and newest than the real and making people fool to buy that product who actually they don't need .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a clear overall view that the development is negative, and you mention plausible concerns about misleading product presentation and intrusive online advertising. However, the task asks both why businesses emphasise that products are new and whether this is positive or negative. Your response focuses mainly on online advertising and its drawbacks; it does not explain why businesses highlight novelty, such as attracting attention or differentiating products from competitors. The discussion of poor quality and unwanted ads is relevant but remains general, with no specific example or developed explanation. The conclusion repeats the negative view but does not add support. To address the task more fully, explain the commercial reasons for stressing newness, then develop and illustrate your judgement about its effects.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a concluding sentence. The ideas about online selling, product presentation and disruptive advertisements are grouped in a broadly sensible order. However, progression is limited because the paragraphs do not clearly build an answer to both parts of the question, and the first body paragraph shifts from technological growth to online sales without a clear link to novelty. Connectors such as “But” and “So at last” signal relationships, but some links are mechanical or unclear. References such as “that product” and “they” can also leave the reader unsure which product or people you mean. Use topic sentences that directly address each part of the prompt and make links between claims explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “advertising agencies,” “social media platforms,” “quality” and “negative impacts,” so the general subject is usually understandable. However, vocabulary is repetitive, particularly “product,” “advertisement” and “negative,” and several choices are inaccurate or unnatural. For example, “adds” is used for advertisements, “troubleness” does not express the intended disruption, and “more beautiful and newest than the real” is difficult to interpret. Spelling errors such as “thay” and “buy” for “by” also reduce precision. Build a more accurate set of expressions for novelty and consumer behaviour, and check collocations and spelling so your meaning is easier to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, for example, “Many businesses are going online and selling their products to that people who are living away…” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence boundaries occur frequently enough to make parts difficult to read. Examples include “Most of the people use,” “the customer which are buying,” and “that product which don't have good quality.” Several sentences run together, especially in the opening and the paragraph beginning “As soon as technology is growing,” with missing spaces after full stops and unclear punctuation. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and clause construction, and divide long ideas into complete sentences.
