Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some companies highlight the their products in the advertisment. They want to attract the customer to buy their products. In my opinion, there are best for technology and develope new things but it is not wrong to say that it is negative impact on development.

On the one hand, the compnies launch their products and show through advertising and there wish the customer buy their products. The people impressed from the object and buy it. If people have no need that product but they buyed. The other reason create the competition between companies and they rapidly luanch their product. For example the mobile company launch mobile phone rapidly with new features and best camera. The people impressed their features and purchase it. If people previous mobile phone is best.

On the other hand, the companies enhance the tecnology from the new products that helps the people in their lifes and make the today man life easy.

Return to the negitive effect is that it is the reason to waste the economy and destroy the technology things. People want to new thing that is launch in the world or their area. Although people have that thing but when the new product they know they purchase and waste the previous thing. It is the major reason of destroying the technology.

To conclude, the companies launch their product in the advertisment and they wish majority buy their product. The people come in compitition and buy the new product while their previous product is best. It is caused by destroying technology and waste money without reason just for desire. The new things increase the technology and made the world modren.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: you suggest that businesses promote newness to attract buyers and create competition, and you express both benefits and drawbacks. The examples about mobile phones and people replacing devices help make the discussion relevant. However, your position is not fully clear: the opening says the development has a negative impact, while the conclusion also says new products improve technology and modernise the world, without deciding which view is stronger. Several points are asserted rather than explained, such as how advertising itself advances technology or how buying replacements “destroy[s]” technology. Make your overall judgement explicit and develop each reason with a clearer explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body sections and a conclusion. The contrastive signposts “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help indicate a change in viewpoint. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, and some links are mechanical or do not express a complete relationship. For example, “If people previous mobile phone is best” is left unfinished, while “Return to the negitive effect” does not clearly connect the preceding point to the next one. The conclusion repeats earlier claims rather than resolving the competing views. Organise each paragraph around one main idea, then explain it in a logical sequence and use clear references between sentences.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “advertising,” “competition,” “features,” and “technology,” so the reader can identify the subject of the essay. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “new,” “product,” and “people.” There are also frequent spelling and word-choice problems, such as “advertisment,” “compitition,” “destroying the technology,” and “come in compitition,” which make some meanings difficult to interpret. Some combinations are unnatural, including “the today man life” and “waste the economy.” Build a wider set of accurate phrases for consumer behaviour and technological change, and check spelling and collocations when revising.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including conditional forms such as “If people have no need that product but they buyed” and a contrast introduced by “Although.” However, many sentences contain errors in articles, verb forms, agreement, or sentence construction, and these sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “Some companies highlight the their products” has an unnecessary article, while “they rapidly luanch their product” needs a plural subject-object relationship and a correctly formed verb. The sentence beginning “Although people have that thing” is not completed as a full contrast. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with correctly formed clauses and check punctuation and sentence boundaries.
