Student answer (Band 5.0)
They are doing this because people nowadays interested and more attracting towards some new products, futures, and experiences. People always want to use and experience new products. I think overall, it is a positive development because businesses are competing with each other to launch new ideas and products in market. By which there are new products and things coming in market for costumers use. Therefore it is beneficial for people as people are getting advanced things. I think as businesses are trying to introduce there products new in some ways so they are trying to bring latest products and that how there are things becoming advance for people and they get benefits by them. For example as car compenies introducing new and latest cars models every years and we all can see how the cars are now advanced and how it bring latest technologies to there new models. In this way we can see how mobile phones are become improved. and also if we look building compenies they also bring so much improvement to building ideas, structure, quality etc. same if we look at returants they are competing with each other and bringing new taste and improved survices. however there are also some negative impacts for example when someone bring new idea and product so they introduce there price high as compered to olders so in that way inflation is also causing bu this thing. So it may be have negative effect for the people whomare not financially very strong.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you explain that consumers are attracted to novelty and state clearly that you see this as positive overall, while acknowledging that new products can be expensive. Examples involving cars, phones, buildings and restaurants are relevant. However, the explanation of why businesses emphasise newness is brief, and several examples repeat the general point that products improve rather than showing how advertising itself influences buyers or helps businesses compete. The concern about higher prices is also introduced late and not fully weighed against the benefits. Develop fewer examples in more detail—for instance, explain how highlighting a new phone feature attracts customers and encourages competitors to innovate—to make the reasoning more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable overall direction: it presents a positive view, gives examples of innovation, and then mentions a possible disadvantage. However, ideas are largely run together in one paragraph, so the reader has to work to distinguish the main explanation, supporting examples and counterpoint. Linking phrases such as “Therefore,” “For example” and “however” show an attempt to connect ideas, but some links are mechanical or do not clarify the relationship between sentences. The repeated pattern of “if we look at” also makes the progression feel list-like. Use separate paragraphs for the explanation, benefits and drawback, and make each paragraph develop one central point with clear references and transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “competing,” “latest technologies,” “improvement” and “negative impacts,” which helps communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling problems make the expression imprecise: “more attracting towards,” “futures,” “costumers,” “compenies,” “survices” and “inflation” in this context. Repeated use of “new,” “things” and “advanced” also reduces precision. Aim to use more specific terms for the reasons and effects, such as consumer demand, product innovation, market competition and affordability. Check spelling carefully and learn common word partnerships, for example “attracted to new products” and “introduce a product to the market.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons and examples, so there is some variety in structure. The main message is generally understandable, but errors in sentence formation and grammatical control occur across the response. For example, “people nowadays interested” is missing a verb, while “businesses are trying to introduce there products new” has problems with word order and possessive form. There are also issues with agreement and verb forms in “mobile phones are become improved” and “it bring latest technologies.” Punctuation is inconsistent, including the sentence beginning “and also” after a full stop. Practise building accurate complex sentences, and check each sentence for a subject, a correctly formed verb and clear clause boundaries.
