Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that bussiness nowadays runing different campaigns for promoting their products.while their is a several reasons for the view, From my point of view I agreed with both positive and negative developments.
One important reason is that to earn more profit. This is because if the bussiness can't start the marketing of the product it can't be sell in the market. So every bussiness have different audiences due to which different marketing strategies will applied for the product to increase their sales in the market. For example if we have a clothing brand and we want to create a hipe of our brand we can run a marketing campaign by hiring the models through this audience can attract and buy a clothes from our brand.
Now from the other hand its also have a negative impact on bussiness because making new bussiness can start the fake campaigns to sell their product but when the customer can purchase their products it can't satisfied as they seen in the marketing campaigns. Due to this customer can't buy the product next time and due to this the revenue will decrease day by day and the bussiness will flop due to wrong marketing strategies. For example if a clothing brand say in their marketing campaign that our cloth have a premium quality and it will charge the high price and they send a parcel of cloth with audinory quality the customer will dishearted.
In conclusion, every bussiness need a marketing campaign to sell their products but don't use fake marketing concept because due to this the customer trust will break so always start a positive campaigns to increase the product sales.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses both questions: it explains that businesses promote products to increase sales and argues that this can have positive and negative effects. The examples about a clothing brand and misleading quality claims are relevant, and the conclusion reinforces the concern about customer trust. However, the position is not fully clear: “I agreed with both positive and negative developments” does not say whether you consider the overall trend positive or negative. The positive side is also only briefly explained, while the negative side receives more detail. To strengthen the response, state a clear overall judgement and develop the benefits and drawbacks more evenly, explaining why novelty-focused advertising attracts customers or encourages innovation, as well as how misleading claims damage trust.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Each body paragraph focuses on a main point, and examples help connect the claims to a clothing business. However, progression within sentences and between ideas is often difficult to follow. Phrases such as “Now from the other hand” and repeated uses of “due to this” make the links mechanical, while “while their is a several reasons for the view” does not clearly connect the opening ideas. Some references, including “it” and “they,” are also unclear. Use simpler, accurate transitions such as “On the other hand,” and make each sentence’s subject explicit. Organising each paragraph as claim, explanation and example would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The response uses a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “marketing strategies,” “audiences,” “revenue,” “premium quality” and “customer trust.” These terms help communicate the main ideas, but vocabulary is often repetitive, particularly “business,” “product” and “marketing campaign.” Several inaccurate word choices or spellings make the meaning less clear, such as “create a hipe,” “audinory quality” and “dishearted.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “runing different campaigns” and “fake marketing concept.” Aim to use more precise collocations for advertising and consumer behaviour, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More varied language for benefits, drawbacks and customer responses would make the discussion clearer and more flexible.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay attempts some longer sentences using “because,” “if” and “when,” but these structures are often faulty, and sentence control is inconsistent. For example, “if the bussiness can't start the marketing of the product it can't be sell” has errors in verb form and clause construction; “every bussiness have” also shows subject–verb disagreement. Articles and plurals are frequently inaccurate, as in “a several reasons” and “buy a clothes.” Punctuation and capitalisation are also unreliable, with sentences joined after full stops without capital letters. These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Practise accurate simple sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences with one clear main clause and correctly formed subordinate clauses.
