Student answer (Band 5.0)
Now a days advertising of businesses is totally changed as compared to the past. In now a days businesses owner use new ways like advertise a product to show their product having new features they are not present in others one. In my opinion its some time having pros and cons. Pros in this manner because they make their product unique and more valuebale like during ads they shows our prouduct have feature like more updated use of new technology new chemecials etc. while cons in this manner when they have told to show the qualities or material they used in product they are fail to show the new materials thats are the one disadvantage i noted by my personal opinion. Later in this i give a example of a cream company that shows the very valueable or new technology ads to show their product are only one same type or quality of products not exist in the world.
For example: In my country a cosmetic company makes a different types of skin care creams they are well-known company and their productive are effective to use for skin and give best results. Every six month they launced a new product like cream they advertise in this way there product have used new chemicals and new formulasn they not exist in the world or no company can compete with them they use new things or new formulas. They are using olds formulas but advertise in this way they are new and never exists.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions: you suggest that businesses highlight novelty to make products seem distinctive and valuable, and you indicate that this can have both benefits and drawbacks. However, the position is not fully clear: “some time having pros and cons” does not establish whether you ultimately consider the trend positive or negative. The explanation of why businesses do this is brief, and the concern that companies may fail to demonstrate new materials is difficult to follow. Your cream-company example is relevant, especially the claim that old formulas are advertised as new, but it needs clearer explanation of how this affects consumers or businesses. State a definite overall view and develop each main reason with a specific consequence or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: the opening introduces the topic and your mixed view, and the later example focuses on a cosmetic company. The reader can also identify a basic contrast between advantages and disadvantages. However, the response does not progress clearly from explaining why businesses stress novelty to evaluating its effects. The first paragraph combines several points in a long sequence, while the example is introduced with “For example” but its connection to the earlier disadvantage is not made explicit until the end. Linking phrases such as “Pros in this manner” and “Later in this” are repetitive or unclear. Use separate paragraphs for the reasons, your evaluation, and the example, and make each paragraph’s central point clear before adding details.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “advertising,” “product,” “features,” “technology,” “chemicals,” and “formulas,” so the general subject is understandable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “new,” “product,” and “in this manner.” Some word choices and collocations make meaning unclear, such as “their productive are effective” and “new formulasn they not exist in the world.” Spelling errors, including “valuebale,” “launced,” and “chemecials,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise language to explain the business motive and consumer impact—for example, “differentiate a product from competitors” or “attract consumer attention”—and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “because” and “when,” but these complex structures are often faulty, and many sentences contain errors that make the relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “businesses owner use,” “they shows,” and “they are fail to show,” where subject–verb agreement or verb forms are incorrect. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also problematic: the opening paragraph contains several ideas joined without clear separation, and the final example is a fragment introduced by “For example:”. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Check agreement, articles, and tense, and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
