Student answer (Band 6.0)

In Nowadays, comapnies are advertising their products as unique because of growing buisness, increasing reputations and prove their capability of manufacturing or inventing new ideas and products.

The growing number of companies is the main factor behind this activity. Companies reputation and rank rely on their product quality and uniqueness. The company who bring something new in market become sucessful in modern days. Due to this, every company is trying to get lead from their buisness competitors. Therefore, they are trying to make their products unique and better. Inventing something new can bring confidence and creativeness among companies staff and also have signifiacnt effect on their shares and reviews.

In my prospective, Avertising something new in any way is positive if it happens actually. It promote creativity among other companies to manufacturing their own prooducts instead of coping others products. When a company advertise about launching new products, it brings a new trend in mareket. Through this, its competitors start working hard and trying to built the better version of that product or something different from it and having better result. Maybe, they get failure in result but in the efforts they learn more things and have a good experience. However, if a company without inventing advertise about new thing by only coping other product is unfair economically or socialy. For instance, if a smaller company launch something new and a high ranked company copy its product and advertise it with its own name and logo, it result in failure of smaller company. People will buy the product with high rank company brand instead of local brand which also decrease the sales of local brand.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address both parts of the question: you explain that companies stress novelty to stand out from competitors and improve their reputation, and you give a clear, qualified view that this is positive when the innovation is genuine. The discussion of competitors developing improved products and learning from failure is relevant. Your example of a larger company copying a smaller one also adds a useful qualification. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained: for instance, the link between novelty and a company’s “shares and reviews” is not developed, and the copying example could clarify how it relates to advertising products as new. To strengthen the response further, explain the reasons more precisely and extend each example to show its consequences.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, an explanation of why businesses promote novelty, and a paragraph presenting your view and an example. Ideas generally progress from competition to innovation and then to the possible harm of copying. Linking expressions such as “Therefore,” “However,” and “For instance” help signal these relationships. At times, though, connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening sentence combines several reasons without showing how they relate, while “Through this” has an uncertain reference. The final paragraph also contains several ideas in one long sequence. Use clearer topic sentences, make references explicit, and separate the positive effects from the qualification about imitation to improve progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “uniqueness,” “competitors,” “creativeness,” and “inventing,” and the reader can generally understand your meaning. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural word combinations are noticeable and sometimes make the message harder to follow. Examples include “comapnies,” “buisness,” “sucessful,” and “mareket,” as well as “get lead from their business competitors” and “built the better version.” Some choices, such as “in my prospective,” do not express the intended meaning naturally. Aim for accurate, conventional collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “gain an advantage over competitors” and “develop an improved version.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “if,” and “which,” and most of the argument remains understandable. Some grammatical errors nevertheless recur. For example, “It promote creativity” has a subject–verb agreement error, and “The company who bring something new” has problems with both the relative pronoun and verb agreement. The sentence beginning “Maybe, they get failure in result” also shows difficulty controlling the clause structure. Articles and sentence boundaries need attention, as in “launching new products, it brings a new trend.” Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, correct agreement, and complete clause structure, while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
