Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, the advertising has great value in the business world or in business rules. Every company illustrate their new product through different advertising to promote their product. From my point of view, it is quite positive development that to promote your product online through advertising and also shows the positive point of your product.
Well it is really important for every company to show their product online to people through advertising. Firstly, through the advertising, company can easily attract people to their product to show their positive points that the product contain. For example, at last year when Iphone company lanch their latest version phone 18 pro-max. So they showed their phone through advertising and they also got very positive result to sold their phone. Secondly, they can illustrate the most new points or updates that their product contain and better from other company products.
I think it is very positive for company to sold their product but not for people that buying their product, because they only highlight the advantages of their product, and not like to even discuss about the week point of their product, and also tryeed to prevent other people whos try to describe to public. For example, Iphone company only showed about their positivity like camera, security system, but at same time they not even discuss about their product battery health which is negative point of their product.
In conclusion, advertising is very positive vay to show your product to public but it is only good for company not for people to avoid their weekness.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that highlighting new features is positive for businesses but can mislead consumers by omitting weaknesses. This addresses both the reasons for the advertising approach and whether it is positive or negative. The examples about a phone launch and its camera, security and battery help illustrate your position. However, the reasons are only partly developed: explain more fully why businesses stress novelty, such as using it to distinguish products from competitors or encourage repeat purchases. Your discussion also shifts between benefits to companies and effects on consumers, so make your overall judgement about the development itself more explicit and support it with a fuller explanation of its consequences for buyers. Some ideas are relevant but remain general or unclear.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The sequence from advertising’s benefits to its possible disadvantages is logical, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and the relationship between points could be clearer. For instance, the second body paragraph begins “I think it is very positive for company to sold their product but not for people,” which introduces a contrast but does not clearly connect it to your overall judgement. Some references, such as “they” and “their product,” are also vague. Use clearer topic sentences and link each example directly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “advertising,” “promote,” “advantages,” “updates” and “battery health,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “product,” “company” and “positive.” Some choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “business rules,” “show their product,” and “positive vay,” while spelling errors such as “lanch,” “weekness” and “tryeed” reduce precision. Aim for more exact collocations and a wider range of terms for novelty and consumer impact. For example, you could describe a company as “emphasising new features” and explain that this may “influence purchasing decisions.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast between companies and consumers and a clause beginning “because.” This allows you to communicate a clear general position. However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement and articles occur often enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “Every company illustrate” needs subject–verb agreement, while “they also got very positive result to sold their phone” has problems with number and verb form. The sentence beginning “For example, at last year…” is also incomplete as written. Practise building accurate sentences around one main idea, and check agreement, tense and article use before adding longer clauses.
