Student answer (Band 5.5)

In recent years, mostly enterprises spread the advertisement that they made their product in a new way. I am convinced that, it is the wrong way for devlopment and in this essay i will state the reasons for this view.

Most of the organization do this for growing their marketing. As, when people saw a thing made in new way they want to buy it qickly and they think it has more benefits than the first one. Another reason for making this type of advertisement is to aware those individuals from this who do not know about this, so that people buy and use their products.

The most compelling reason for my view is that, it has bad effects on enviroment. As, mostly organization do not made any change in their product, while in ads they said, they made it with new idea. For instance, a detergent company spread an ad that, they made detergent with new formula, but they do not have make any change, so it is an open betray with innocent people.

Another reason for my position is that, enormous organizations make fake products, however in advertisement they tell fake benefits of their product. So, this cause more costly for people. For example, a company make a fake facewash product and sell it to the people. When people use this facewash on thier face they have to face several other face problems due to using this products.

To recapitulate, according to my percspective, it is wrong way of advertisemnt, because it has enormous drawbacks. Given this condition it is recomended that, the way of fake advertisement must be diminished.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both parts of the question: you explain that businesses promote products as new to attract buyers and give your view that this is negative. The detergent and facewash examples help illustrate concerns about misleading claims and possible harm to consumers. However, the reasons are not fully developed, and the environmental point is asserted rather than explained: the detergent example focuses on deception, not clearly on environmental effects. The response also treats advertising claims as generally fake, without considering why genuine innovation might be emphasised. To strengthen the response, explain the link between novelty and consumer behaviour in more detail, and support your negative position with specific, clearly connected consequences and examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons, examples, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “Another reason” and “For instance” signal relationships between ideas, so the reader can follow the broad argument. However, progression is somewhat mechanical, and several links are unclear or inaccurate. For example, “Another reason for making this type of advertisement is to aware those individuals from this” does not clearly explain the relationship between advertising and informing consumers. The environmental paragraph also shifts from environmental harm to dishonesty without making the connection explicit. Use clearer topic sentences, develop one point at a time, and make each example directly support the paragraph’s main claim.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “advertisement,” “benefits,” “fake products,” and “drawbacks,” and you attempt more formal expressions such as “The most compelling reason” and “To recapitulate.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “spread the advertisement” and “open betray” are not natural expressions, while “aware those individuals from this” is unclear. Spelling errors such as “devlopment,” “enviroment,” and “advertisemnt” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise vocabulary for discussing marketing, such as “promote,” “misleading claims,” and “consumer trust,” and check spelling and collocations when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “when,” “while,” and “because.” This gives the response some structural variety, but control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make several sentences awkward or unclear. Examples include “Most of the organization do this,” “they do not made any change,” and “a company make a fake facewash product,” where agreement or verb forms are faulty. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also problematic, as in “I am convinced that, it is the wrong way for devlopment and in this essay i will state…” Aim first for accurate subject–verb agreement and consistent verb forms, then practise joining ideas with subordinate clauses while punctuating each sentence clearly.
