Student answer (Band 5.5)

Advertising product is a been part of marketing for a very long time. It also plays an important role for any business or brand. Nowadays as people requirements and preferences are changing, many brands often emphasis that are products are new in some way to it can possibly aware their customers. In my opinion it is a positive development to build customer's trust as well as any business reputation.

Advertising products that emphasis that are different in some ways help businesses to aware their buyers know what how can they fulfill consumers need. It also help brands or businesses to grow and thrive by introduceing what innovations they are bringing for their customers, moreover it can help to build trust between customers and businesses if the product advertisement emphasis on answering questions what customers been asking to show that they care about their buyers too.

Although all the these advertisement might also mislead and affect market growth if the emphasis is only answers one problem meanwhile product is solution for multiple problems. For instance a skin care company introduce their serum is very effective for acne marks, scars and hyper pigmentation, but their adversity emphasis is only on acne marks that people would assume that it's usage is only effective for acne marks.

In conclusion, it believe there are some positive development if enterprises emphasis mew product to aware their customers and build trust if it is done by balancing product other benefits too son the buyers don't assume and effect any brand sales.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question: you suggest that businesses highlight novelty to respond to changing customer preferences and build trust, and you state that this is positive overall. The skincare-serum example also supports your concern that selective advertising can mislead consumers. These are relevant ideas, but some are less fully developed than others. In particular, the reasons businesses emphasise newness could be explained more directly—for example, how novelty attracts attention or helps a product stand out from competitors. Your positive position is clear, although the conclusion introduces a condition about balancing benefits that could be explained more precisely. Develop each main point with a clear explanation and a specific consequence to make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining potential benefits, a paragraph discussing a drawback, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a coherent route through your position, and the example is placed appropriately alongside the concern about misleading advertising. However, some connections between ideas are unclear or mechanical. For instance, the first body paragraph moves from informing buyers to business growth and then trust without clearly showing how each point relates to the previous one. The long sentence beginning “It also help brands” contains several ideas that would be easier to follow if separated. Use clearer topic sentences, divide complex points into shorter units, and make references such as “these advertisement” precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “preferences,” “innovations,” “consumers,” “mislead,” and “hyper pigmentation,” and you attempt to express ideas about trust and market growth. This gives you a workable range, but inaccurate word forms, spelling, and collocations are noticeable and sometimes make meaning less clear. Examples include “emphasis” where the verb “emphasise” is needed, “aware their customers” instead of “inform their customers,” and “adversity” where “advertisement” appears intended. “Product is solution for multiple problems” is also not a natural phrase. Build accuracy by checking word forms and spelling, and learn common combinations such as “meet consumers’ needs” and “highlight a product’s features.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional idea in “if it is done by balancing…” and a contrast introduced by “Although.” However, control is uneven, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “Advertising product is a been part” has an incorrect verb construction, while “It also help brands” lacks subject–verb agreement. The sentence beginning “Although all the these advertisement” is not grammatically complete, and the final sentence contains several clauses that do not connect clearly. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Check agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries during proofreading.
