Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
You give a clear overall view that advertising products as new is positive, and you mention relevant benefits such as making businesses easier and helping customers order deliveries. However, the response does not adequately answer both parts of the question: it gives little explanation of why businesses emphasise novelty, and the benefits are asserted rather than supported with specific examples. The claim that advertising gives “right feedback from customers” is unclear and not explained. The response is also 61 words below the 250-word minimum; the eight words copied from the task prompt are excluded from the count. Develop the reasons for highlighting new features and support your position with a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
There is a basic progression from advertising platforms to customer convenience and then to a positive conclusion, so the reader can identify your general line of thought. However, the response is presented as one long paragraph, and ideas are often joined mechanically with “Nowadays,” “Therefore,” and “However.” Some links do not show a clear relationship: for example, “However advertising products are highly good thatswhy they are promoting it” is difficult to follow. The conclusion also repeats that advertising is good without bringing the reasons together. Use separate paragraphs for the explanation, your evaluation, and the conclusion, and make each sentence develop one clear point with more precise linking.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “advertising,” “promoting,” “customers,” “businesses,” and “delivered,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is repetitive, with “advertising,” “businesses,” and “platform” appearing frequently, and several word choices or spellings make meaning less clear. Examples include “platfoam,” “coustmers,” “adected,” and “morden.” Phrases such as “highly good” and “right feedback” are also imprecise or unnatural in this context. Build a more varied set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling and collocations; for instance, explain whether advertising highlights a product’s “new features” to attract “potential customers.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt some longer sentences and use basic connectors to express cause and contrast, as in “because people are getting lazy so its easy that they should order.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but sentence boundaries and clause relationships are often poorly controlled, and much of the writing relies on simple repeated patterns. There are also recurring errors in agreement, articles, and sentence construction: “their is modern time,” “Nowadays we looks,” and “As compare to past businesses” are examples. Punctuation is inconsistent, particularly where sentences run together after full stops. Practise forming clear subject–verb sentences, then combine clauses accurately using one connector at a time.
