Student answer (Band 5.0)
There are many advertising companies advertise their businesses products emphasise in a new way. These methods have positive and negative image.
To begin with, the method of advertising is that to show the image of old product into new product. This is for to take the attention of the customers and make the design of the
product is different from other companies's products. For this, these industries can easily carry the attention of the people and make more advertise their product in different ways.
In addition, the other use of these ads are increase the sales of product and also take more hype to increase the profits of the industries that are very important for the indutries. Moreover, for advertisements the image of campany would b very good for their products and costumers are also give positive feedback if their products are good same as their ads.
Secondly, lets discuss the positive side of these advertisement. First of all the benefits of this is that to improve quality and second is to provide useful features by these advertisement of the product.
The negative side of these that is to spend unnecessary money, misleading advertisement and to advertise the old product into new because, after that the response of consumers are vad and the reputation of company would also degrade. This may have very bad imoact on industry.
In conclusion, From my perspective if an industry wants to represent their product then they should want to represent the product same as original.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions by giving reasons businesses highlight novelty and discussing positive and negative effects. For example, you say this can attract customers and increase sales, while misleading advertising may damage a company’s reputation. However, the response only partially develops the task: the reasons for emphasising newness are not clearly distinguished from the effects of advertising generally, and the positive side is asserted rather than explained. Your position is also difficult to identify. The opening calls the development both positive and negative, while the conclusion says products should be represented “same as original,” without clearly stating whether you consider the trend positive or negative overall. State your view directly and support each main point with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some organisation: the response moves from reasons for advertising novelty to positive and negative effects, then ends with a conclusion. Paragraph breaks and signposts such as “To begin with,” “In addition,” and “In conclusion” help readers recognise these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is not always clear. The first paragraph combines attracting attention, increasing sales, profits, and company image without showing how each point connects. “Secondly” introduces the positive side, but the negative side follows in the same paragraph, making the structure less easy to follow. Some linking phrases are mechanical or do not accurately signal the relationship between ideas. Use one paragraph for reasons, separate paragraphs for your evaluation, and connect each claim explicitly to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “customers,” “sales,” “profits,” “misleading advertisement,” and “reputation.” These terms show an attempt to discuss advertising and its commercial effects. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make the meaning unclear, such as “take more hype,” “carry the attention,” and “the response of consumers are vad.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “indutries,” “campany,” and “costumers,” which can distract the reader. Aim for more precise, natural expressions and check spelling carefully. For instance, explain that novelty can “attract consumer attention” or “differentiate a product from competitors,” rather than relying on repeated references to attention and advertising.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a conditional idea in “if an industry wants to represent their product.” However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors in sentence structure and verb forms appear in examples such as “There are many advertising companies advertise” and “the other use of these ads are increase the sales.” Agreement and article use are also inconsistent, as in “the response of consumers are” and “the method of advertising is that to show.” These problems sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add clauses using “because,” “which,” or “if.” Check that each sentence has a clear main verb and that subjects and verbs agree.
