Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You identify a negative view and give a relevant reason: businesses may promote products as new to increase profit, and may present a similar product as different. However, the response addresses the task only minimally. It does not clearly explain why businesses emphasise novelty beyond the brief profit point, and the claim about children buying repeatedly is not developed with a clear example or explanation. The final sentence repeats your disagreement rather than adding support, and the opening fragment about reducing money and quality is difficult to connect to the argument. The response is also 104 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to explain both the reasons and your evaluation fully. Develop each point with a specific example and a clear explanation of its effect.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: you introduce your disagreement, then mention profit, rebranding, and children as consumers. Some links, such as “because of the profit they want,” show an effort to connect reasons. However, the ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the opening fragment has no clear connection to what follows. Several points run together, while “however” and “Like that” do not create clear logical relationships. The repeated statement “I am totally disagree with this statement” also interrupts progression rather than concluding the argument. Use separate paragraphs for your explanation and evaluation, and connect each claim to the next with precise linking phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

Your vocabulary communicates a few relevant ideas, including advertising, profit, product, and quality, but the range is basic and several words or phrases are repeated. Some choices make the meaning unclear, such as “make new brand of same thing” and “reduce the money,” where the intended ideas may be launching a new brand and lowering the price. Spelling errors such as “refuce,” “qulity,” “eveyone,” and “mony” also make the response harder to read. Build a more precise set of topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully. For example, you could describe companies as “promoting a product as innovative” or “rebranding an existing item” rather than relying on repeated uses of “new” and “thing.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to express cause and contrast, for example in “because of the profit they want” and “however I am totally dissagree,” but most sentences rely on simple patterns, and several are difficult to follow because of grammatical errors. In “If their make some advertising,” the subject and verb form are incorrect; “people think its a new product and eveyone think to buy” also has agreement and sentence-structure problems. The final clause beginning “however im totally…” is joined awkwardly to the preceding idea. Use complete, clearly punctuated sentences, check subject–verb agreement, and practise forming conditional sentences accurately. A wider range of controlled sentence structures would help you explain reasons and consequences more clearly.
