Student answer (Band 5.0)

today it is big problem form all anywhere in the world beacause some people prefer advertising for their own bussines but some are against it for many reason

if i gives my own opionin i saw the ad on instgram of beauty product it is bascially a face wash it ad look like it is good and effective product i order it but when its recieves me it is very old and worst and not give me a good resut infact it damges my skin therefore my experince with such product are not going good therefore in my opionin it is not good for our society because if it is becomes common we do nothing

when commpany do such false advertisement for their product which are not liked by costumers and brand owner decided to repack or change the name of product and makes new packging and advertise it on social media and promote it by infulencers in this plan company get succeed they makes got profit but they loss costumers trust therefore in future such companies face lot of failure because nect time never chose it and not recomend anyone to try.

in conculsion it is not a right way to sell their products for company.such a corporation need made good articles that gives benifits to costumers and if any type of company try to sold their old products or item by using different method we just need to by-court such corporations and goverment should takes action on such company.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear negative view, supported by your experience of buying a face wash after seeing an Instagram advertisement. You also describe how companies may repackage products and use influencers to attract buyers, which is relevant to the topic. However, the response only partly answers the question: it focuses mainly on misleading advertising and does not clearly explain why businesses emphasise that products are new. The opening comments about people being for or against advertising also shift attention from the specific question. Develop reasons such as attracting attention, differentiating products from competitors, or encouraging repeat purchases, then explain whether this trend is positive or negative with a more precise supporting example. Your position is present, but its reasoning remains limited and under-developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an identifiable structure: an opening, discussion of a personal example and company behaviour, and a concluding recommendation. This gives the reader some sense of organisation. However, the progression between ideas is not always clear. The first paragraph moves from a general statement about advertising to your purchase experience, while the next introduces repackaging without clearly linking it to the question about products being new. Connect each paragraph to one main point and arrange the explanation in a clearer sequence: why companies do this, its effects, and your judgement. Linking words such as “therefore” are repeated, sometimes where the relationship between ideas is unclear. Use a wider range of accurate transitions and clearer references so the reader can follow how each point supports your argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “advertisement,” “customers,” “influencers,” “repackaging,” and “profit,” and the personal example helps make your meaning understandable. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated or imprecise, such as “such product,” “company,” and “not good.” There are also frequent spelling and word-form errors, including “opionin,” “costumers,” and “benifits,” which can make the reader pause or misinterpret a point. Aim for more precise language to describe the trend and its effects—for example, “promote a newly launched product,” “differentiate it from competitors,” or “damage consumer trust.” Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations, such as “gain customers’ trust” and “take legal action.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences using words such as “because,” “when,” and “therefore,” and you include both simple statements and more extended explanations. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. For example, “when its recieves me it is very old” has unclear tense and sentence structure, while “company get succeed they makes got profit” contains problems with verb forms and agreement. Errors with articles, plurals, and punctuation also occur throughout, making some sentences difficult to follow. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, then combine them using one subordinate clause at a time. Pay particular attention to past-tense forms when describing your purchase and subject–verb agreement in general statements.
