Student answer (Band 5.5)
Advertisement is a techinique where all businesses industries around the world try to display their all sorts of product in a greater and most attractive way . Currently, the owners of the companies priotarize their items in a completely new way through advertisement. It can be assumed that, in order to survive in the competitive markets and want to conquire the market places are the positive improvement, whereas, buyers got scammed by companies and overpriced of the particular products are the most negative impact. The essay will describe both of the developments and according to my point of view it is a negative development because for that other small companies can not stand back and create a monopoly business by large companies.
To beginning with, companies mainly given focus on their products in order to survive the competitive world. As, newly companies are developed and produce new items continously so it is harder the held customers. As for that reason, they have ti follow new strategies to tackle this situations. A further information that must be noted that, the companies try to control the markets so that only their products rules among all other items. As a consequence , their products market value will increase and make a good profit. For instance, the amazon, an online based company who usually sell all sorts of market around the world and held a very good market position and also supported by the consumers.
First and foremost, the consumers are may not get their displayed product which are showen in the advertisement by a business industries. Additionally, they are sometimes robbed by the large companies and can not take proper action due to the powerful owners linked to law inforcer. Another factor that should be considered that, consumers have to pay exxtra cashes to purchase a particular item which is not in a proper standard. Furthermore, the companies are use cheap raw materials as a result the products are buyers are not satisfied and they often avoid to buy those. A clear example of this is evaly a popular company in bangladesh where they display genuine items in their website and they are extremely overpriced and sometimes they send fake products.
In conclusion, I believe that, due to these activities small scales industries can not able run their business freely and large companies try to take the maket place at any cost. Overall, for the stabilization of companies and earn a revenue it can be done but customers continuous dissatifactions and overpriced products may businesses will faces a great trouble.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question: you suggest that businesses stress novelty to compete and gain market share, and you argue that this is negative because consumers may be misled and smaller firms may struggle. Your examples of Amazon and Evaly help make the discussion more concrete. However, the reasons for emphasising that products are new are not consistently explained, and the Amazon example does not clearly show how novelty in advertising helps a business. The position is also somewhat mixed: the introduction calls the development positive in one respect before stating that you consider it negative, while the conclusion introduces business stability and revenue without resolving that contrast. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation and keep your position consistent.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for business motives and consumer harms, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from competition to market control and then to Amazon without clearly connecting the example to the main point. Linking phrases such as “To beginning with,” “First and foremost,” and “Furthermore” are used, but some feel mechanical or do not accurately signal the relationship between ideas. References such as “these activities” and “those” are also not always precise. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s central idea, then connect explanations and examples directly to it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “competitive markets,” “market position,” “raw materials,” and “monopoly business.” These choices show an effort to discuss business and consumer issues beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited by frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choice or collocation, which sometimes make meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “conquire,” “priotarize,” “held customers,” “extra cashes,” and “customers continuous dissatisfactions.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “sell all sorts of market.” Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer natural combinations such as “retain customers,” “charge higher prices,” and “consumer dissatisfaction.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “so that,” and “as a result.” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction can make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “the companies are use cheap raw materials” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “the consumers are may not get” combines incompatible forms. The opening sentence also contains an unclear construction, and several sentences join ideas without a clear grammatical relationship. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Check agreement and verb forms during revision.
