Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is a contemporary trend in the market that businessmen are making their products tempted by emphasize it in their advertisement. In my opinion, it is a negative development.
This is beacuse the advertisement chllenges are rapid in the market nowadays. The sellers are trying to make their products more attractive by emphasizing it. They emphasize it by highlighting it or by adding the valuable and fascinating posters for the buyers allurement. Individuals are doing all the illegal things like selling their worst product just to get the profit and in the sake of money. They are selling their old products by organising it to show that it is authentic and pure. It is just to catch the attention of the customers.
This is because they want their businesses on the top-notch. Nevertheless, by doing this, they can sell their things but they will not earn the respect in the society. The fact is that business should always stand on a genuine base. People can easily catch in their schemes but they will have to face the reality one day.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear view—“it is a negative development”—and give a relevant reason: businesses may misrepresent older or poor-quality goods to attract customers and make profit. However, the response only partly answers the question. It does not explain in enough detail why companies emphasise that products are new, such as competition, changing consumer preferences, or the desire to stand out. The negative effects are also asserted rather than supported with a specific example or explanation, and the claim that sellers do “all the illegal things” is too broad. The response is 70 words below the required minimum, which limits the opportunity to develop both parts of the task. Add a developed explanation and a relevant example for each main point.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some basic organisation: you introduce your opinion, give reasons, and end by arguing that dishonest businesses lose respect. The reader can generally follow the central concern about attracting customers. However, the ideas do not progress clearly from why businesses advertise novelty to whether this is positive or negative. “This is because” is repeated, and “Nevertheless” does not clearly signal a contrast with the preceding point. Some references are also unclear, as in “by highlighting it,” where “it” could refer to the product or its newness. Use separate paragraphs for the reasons and your evaluation, and connect each point explicitly so the argument develops step by step.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “advertisement,” “attractive,” “profit,” “authentic,” and “attention of the customers.” This gives you a basic range for discussing marketing and business. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “products tempted by emphasize it” does not express the intended idea, while “advertisement challenges” and “buyers allurement” are unnatural phrases. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “beacuse” and “chllenges.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations such as “promote a new product,” “attract potential customers,” and “gain a competitive advantage,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use mostly simple statements and make an attempt at a longer sentence with “Individuals are doing all the illegal things like selling their worst product just to get the profit.” However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to interpret. For example, “This is beacuse the advertisement chllenges are rapid” has an unclear grammatical structure, and “businessmen are making their products tempted by emphasize it” combines verb forms incorrectly. There are also problems with articles and sentence construction in “in the sake of money.” Practise building clear subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses accurately; proofread verb forms, articles, and punctuation.
