Nowdays genrally the products which look new and modern have high sales. That's why businesses in their advertizing usually emphasise on their products to look new in some way. In my opinion it has both positive and negative aspects.
First I will dicuss its positive side recently there is a lot of competition in any field. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You identify a relevant reason for highlighting novelty—competition—and give a clear, though brief, view that the development has both positive and negative aspects. You also mention possible benefits to customers and innovation. However, the response addresses the task only minimally: it does not explain why businesses emphasise newness in enough detail, and it does not develop the positive and negative sides or support them with examples. The negative aspect is not explained at all, so your overall position remains incomplete. The response is also 149 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop the argument. To improve, explain both sides, give a specific example, and state clearly which view you ultimately support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is a basic sequence: you introduce the topic and your mixed view, then begin discussing a positive reason. Linking expressions such as “First” and “in addition” help show how the ideas relate. However, the response ends before a clear overall progression is established: there is no developed discussion of the negative side or concluding paragraph. The opening sentence also repeats the idea of products looking new, rather than moving the argument forward. Some connections are difficult to follow, particularly the long sentence beginning “In order to standout,” where several points are joined together. Use separate paragraphs for the explanation, each side of your view, and the conclusion, with clear links between them.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “competition,” “innovation,” “products,” and “customers,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors are noticeable, such as “Nowdays,” “advertizing,” “coustmers,” and “buisenesses.” Some expressions are also awkward or imprecise: “lookwise and qualitywise” is informal and unclear, while “emphasise on their products to look new” does not express the intended meaning naturally. Aim for more precise phrases such as “differentiate their products from competitors” and “highlight new features.” Proofreading spelling and choosing standard collocations would make your ideas easier to understand and more appropriate for an academic essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “In order to…” and “which ultimately…,” but the range of sentence structures remains limited and these attempts are often faulty. The opening uses an awkward relative clause in “the products which look new and modern have high sales,” and the sentence beginning “First I will dicuss” runs into the next idea without suitable punctuation. In “it also leads to innovation which encourage buisenesses,” the relative clause needs a verb that agrees with “innovation.” Capitalisation and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, including the lowercase “in addition” after a full stop. Practise building accurate compound and complex sentences, checking agreement, punctuation, and sentence boundaries before adding further clauses.
