Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

The response attempts to address both questions by referring to social media advertising and describing the trend as negative for people who cannot use it, while also mentioning possible business profits. However, the reasons are not clearly tied to why companies emphasise that products are new; the essay shifts instead to how people advertise products online. Your position is also difficult to identify: “i firmly agree” does not specify which view you agree with, and the conclusion does not state whether the development is positive or negative. Examples such as a successful person launching a product are too vague to support the claims. The response is also three words below the required minimum. To improve, answer both questions directly, explain each reason, and support your position with a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is an attempt to move from an introduction to reasons and then a conclusion, and phrases such as “for instance” and “with the passage of time” show an effort to connect ideas. However, the response is presented as one long paragraph, so the reader cannot easily distinguish the introduction, supporting points, and conclusion. The progression is also difficult to follow: it moves from social media’s reach to low education, then to stress, competition, and profit without clearly explaining how these points relate. Some links are unclear, including “when he lounch her product in market, but it is negative aspect.” Use separate paragraphs and organise the body around two clear reasons, with each example directly supporting its point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response uses some vocabulary relevant to advertising and business, including “social media,” “publicity,” “competition,” “profit,” and “demand of time.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the topic, but the range is repetitive and several expressions are inaccurate or unclear, which makes ideas harder to understand. For example, “sale increase” does not clearly express the intended business outcome, while “negative thinkings” and “run their compeign” are not natural choices in this context. Spelling errors such as “soial,” “lounch,” and “acheive” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of topic phrases, such as “promote a product,” “highlight new features,” and “gain a competitive advantage,” and check spelling and collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

There are attempts to use longer sentences and clauses, for example, “when they scroll the phones the aid goes to their eyes,” and the response includes a concluding sentence. However, sentence structures are often incomplete or joined in ways that make relationships between ideas unclear. Verb forms and agreement are also unreliable, as in “every person know” and “he get enoug profit.” Articles and sentence boundaries need attention, particularly in the opening and in the long sequence beginning “for instance, whose person.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, with several sentences running together. Practise writing clear subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time; proofread for agreement, articles, and full stops.
