Student answer (Band 5.5)
The rapidly changing the world, companys or organisations highlights their new feature of products via advertising on social media, TV and news channel to attract customer. From my perspective it is a good positive development in the world. There are most benefits of this process such as everyone knows about products.
First and foremost, companys use mordern technology to becoming an attractive products among other products. For instance, company use the attractive packaging and target the age of group customer such as protein item food.
This items easily attract the fitness people and health conscious. Moreover, company do advertising their products on particular customer which have interested in this fields. Also geniun company usaully do advertising to their product with high quality ingreedians.
Thus, all customer can achieve knowleage apart from viewing advertising and compare the products with other companys. So they get early decision to which product is suitable for them.
But there are certain drawbacks of advertising, it becomes very costlier to advertise feature of products. Therefor, company increase the prices of product. However, this all amount and expenses would be payed by customer. Many company do not shows the some side effects of products and ingreedians which include in product. For instance, the mango juice products consists of artifical sugar and colour which affected people body and increase weight this type of details do not share in advertising.
In conclusion, advertising design for the attracts customer. First and foremost people must be check ingreedians and quality which used in product after buy it. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that emphasising new features is positive, and you identify relevant reasons, including attracting customers and helping them compare products. You also recognise drawbacks such as higher prices and undisclosed ingredients, so both parts of the question are addressed. However, the explanation of why businesses stress novelty is not consistently developed: the point about attractive packaging and targeting fitness-conscious consumers is relevant to advertising generally, but does not clearly explain why products are presented as new. The example of mango juice adds support to your concern about misleading advertising, though its effects are asserted rather than explained. Develop each main reason with a clearer link to novelty and explain how it supports your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs, a paragraph beginning “But” for drawbacks, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “First and foremost,” “Moreover,” and “For instance” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the discussion moves from packaging to customer targeting and then to ingredient quality without showing how these points connect to the emphasis on new products. Some transitions are mechanical or imprecise, and “Thus” introduces a conclusion that is not fully established by the preceding points. The final paragraph also repeats earlier claims rather than drawing them together. Organise each paragraph around one clear reason, then use explicit links to show how examples support that reason.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “advertising,” “attractive packaging,” “health conscious,” “side effects,” and “artificial sugar and colour.” These choices make the general subject understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts difficult to interpret, such as “achieve knowledge,” “do advertising their products,” and “advertising design for the attracts customer.” Spelling errors, including “mordern,” “geniun,” “ingreedians,” and “knowleage,” also reduce clarity and control. Aim to learn common collocations for marketing and consumer behaviour, and check spelling carefully. More precise phrases such as “promote new features” and “inform consumers” would help express your ideas naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a contrast between benefits and drawbacks and a relative clause in “customer which have interested in this fields.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “companys use mordern technology to becoming” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “Many company do not shows” combines mismatched subject and verb forms. The opening fragment, “The rapidly changing the world,” also lacks a complete grammatical structure. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check that subjects and verbs agree and that verbs after “to” use the correct form.
