Student answer (Band 5.5)
At this era, Every country needs a development and for that there is need for brilliant idea and its execution. Younger people tends to have eagerness and enthuasity than older people But at same time , we need older experience to test more use cased which can done only from older generation.
In this technology trends, younger generation knows how to use , where to find stuff in which they get stuck. Opposite of that, elder generation having trust issue on information which provides by technology, instead they still prefer to ask person's advise or opinion. If we talk about passion, it is obvious that younger will have it more as that is age where they have no develop their entire life plan where older generation already pass through this situations. so for any development, country can relay more on younger adults for fresh idea . Execution of those idea can be done by younger more effectively than elder. let's say we need to some infrastructure changes, when there is work which need physical strength, younger will be more relay source than elder.
It doesn't mean, elder don't contribute to development. Their experience will be evitable to younger . for example, younger can start business of shoes but elder knows better how to deal with customer, at same time when customer is tough how to deal with them. so younger can run business but strategy which leads success will definitely come from older. In another perspect , younger prefer to have short cut which provide them faster growth. It sometime leading them to failure if they didn't consider risk factors.
To conclude my opinion , there is definitely advantages of having young adults. There is much fast growth has been notices for any countries which have relatively large number of young adults. But without older generation, none country can build sustainable growth

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the roles of young and older generations in development. However, the position is not consistently clear throughout the essay. While you identify advantages of young adults, the discussion of disadvantages is somewhat limited and lacks depth. The ideas are relevant but often under-developed; for instance, the point about 'short cuts' and 'risk factors' is introduced but not fully explained or linked back to the overall argument regarding the balance between the two groups. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that your arguments are fully supported with specific reasoning or examples.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression between ideas is sometimes disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'In another perspect' and 'Opposite of that'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of your argument. For example, the transition between the discussion of technology and the discussion of passion feels abrupt. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows naturally from the previous one would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation that occasionally impede communication. Examples include 'enthuasity' (enthusiasm), 'use cased' (use cases), and 'evitable' (which is the opposite of what you intended, as you meant 'invaluable' or 'essential'). You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, but the lack of precision in word forms and spelling limits your score. Focusing on learning the correct collocations and ensuring you use words in their appropriate context will help you move to a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('Younger people tends'), missing articles ('need for brilliant idea'), and awkward phrasing ('none country can build'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with spaces placed incorrectly before commas. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors is noticeable and requires attention. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with verb forms and article usage, to ensure your writing is more polished and professional.
