Student answer (Band 5.5)
In many countries today, there are more young adults than older people. Some people think this situation has more benefit than problems, the advantages having a large young population as compare to the disadvantages.
One major advantage is that a young population can help the economy grow. Young adults are usually healthy and can work hard. They can do many different jobs in factories, offices and technology companies.
In addition, This means that the country can produce more goods and services. For example countries like India and Pakistan has many young workers, and this help their economy to grow quickly. Also young generation are often more talented and creative that can creates the new technologies.
However, there are also some disadvantages as well. One problem is that there not be much enough jobs for the young people. This makes the young people to be frustrate.
Another disadvantage is that the older people may not get enough support. In countries with few elderly people, the government might not spend much money on hospitals and pensions for them. As these young people get older in the future, the country could face problems caring for them.
In conclusion, although having many young adults can cause some issues like unemployment, I believe the advantages are greater. A young workforce can make the economy stronger and bring innovation. Therefore, this situation is mostly positive. The young generation did work much more better than the older people.
They make the new technologies because internet now available everywhere, where u wants to do the work.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages of a young population. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention economic growth and innovation as advantages, and unemployment and elderly care as disadvantages, these points are not fully extended with deep analysis. The conclusion is clear, but the final sentence introduces new, slightly irrelevant information about the internet, which does not contribute to the argument. To improve, ensure each body paragraph provides a more detailed explanation or a more specific, well-integrated example to support your claims.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In addition', 'However', and 'In conclusion' to link your thoughts. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is interrupted by grammatical errors, such as the awkward phrasing in the introduction. The referencing is generally clear, but the connection between sentences could be smoother to improve the overall readability of the essay.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'workforce', 'innovation', and 'pensions'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and awkward collocations, such as 'not be much enough jobs' and 'did work much more better'. These errors occasionally distract the reader. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring that word forms (e.g., 'frustrate' vs 'frustrated') are used correctly in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('countries... has', 'young generation are'), incorrect verb forms ('can creates'), and awkward sentence construction ('This makes the young people to be frustrate'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to lower the score. You should focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your sentence structures are grammatically sound.
