Student answer (Band 5.5)

In contemporary era, the population is drastically increasing in some countries with double rate of prediction. However the number of young adults is relatively larger than number of older people. This new rising generation is also called as GenZ. Pros and corns belong to every major and minor issue. Although young people are passionate about their career and goals moreover, they take stand for their rights and become unified againt any injustice yet they are emotionally less intelligence and experience than older people.

The most significant role played by youth is that they do not interfere in others life and do not blame their respective relation for their problems. Instead of exeggeration the simply solve issues logically rather than dealing them emotionally. At the same side they broke the shackles of old ritulals and traditions whivh limited the freedom of individual. They believe in self identity and self evaluation.

On contrast side, even they worked for theirselves yet they are not fully confined with dealings probblems socially. They do not have an experience and more knowledge as compared to older people they do dont undergo through struggles which define their personality. In addition they beleive in technologies rather than trying to understand what really is happening in surroundings. Ironically, youth is confined in trap of isolation and meritocracy.

Apart from contradictory discussion, I personaly observe in surroundings and evaluate this issue. I would prefer to say that young generation at the presnent time uses more stream of conciousness rather than struggle to get logical and emotional behaviour. I was just sitting at a fancy resturant with captivating ambience and having coffee with my friends. At same time, an older man sudeenly kick off glass and it slipped on floor while simultaneously young waiter dive in and caught the glass. Meanwhile ,I was thinking how cool this young man is ironically he stood up and thrusted old man about showing price tag of glass without even respecting. This illustrate that however old people were less privileged yet they know how to deal with every person while today's youth might get blank and blindly follow earning tradition only.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the pros and cons of a youth-heavy population. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you attempt to present both sides, the arguments are often vague or contradictory, such as the claim that youth are 'emotionally less intelligence' but also 'solve issues logically'. The personal anecdote in the final paragraph is somewhat tangential and does not effectively support the broader argument about the societal impact of a young population. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a clear, well-supported point that directly answers the 'advantages vs. disadvantages' question.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and unclear referencing. Phrases like 'On contrast side' and 'Apart from contradictory discussion' are used incorrectly, making the progression of ideas feel mechanical rather than natural. Additionally, the connection between sentences within paragraphs is often weak, particularly in the final paragraph where the narrative of the restaurant incident does not clearly link back to the main topic. Using a wider range of cohesive devices more accurately would significantly improve the readability of your work.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is often imprecise, and there are several instances of incorrect word choice and spelling errors, such as 'corns' instead of 'cons', 'exeggeration', 'ritulals', and 'whivh'. You attempt to use some academic vocabulary like 'contemporary era' and 'stream of conciousness', but these are often used incorrectly or in contexts where they do not fit. The range is adequate to convey basic meaning, but the frequent errors in collocation and spelling prevent a higher score. Focus on learning the correct spelling and usage of common academic collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('youth is confined'), missing articles, and incorrect preposition usage. For example, 'they do dont undergo through struggles' is grammatically fragmented. While you attempt complex sentences, they are often marred by errors in punctuation and syntax. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on basic accuracy, particularly with verb tenses and sentence construction, before attempting more complex structures.
