Student answer (Band 6.0)
In some countries, the population of young adults are higher in number comparatively to older people. Although this situation can create some social and economic challenges, I believe that advantages generally outweigh the disadvantages.
Youthful population can cause the problems if government fails to provide equal opportunities. Increased poplualtion of youngsters need accomodation and employment. Therefore, government need to invest in the housing and creating job opportunities which requires a huge amount to be spent on the these facilities. If government fails to provide equal employment opportunities, the unemployment rate will increase significantly. For example, India has the largest younger population in the world, but due to lack of necessary employment, 50% of the highest educated youngsters are forced to do labor jobs for survival.
One major advantage of having young adults polulation is positive impact on the workforce. Youngsters usally work for many years and with lots of experience the workflow runs smoothly. Also, younsters are very creative and with the creativity and innovation, there contribution in the workflow increase the economical growth of the country. In addition, youngsters are willing to learn technological skills. For instance, government can raipdly increase the revenue of they invest in the vocational trainning, in education to support their innovation.
Another benefit of having young population is that there contribution in society is huge. They bring all communties together by planning events and raise awareness .
In conclusion, having young adults larger population can create the pressure on the govenment of the employment demands do not meet, but I believe that long term social and economic benefits are greater. With appropriate investment in the education, housing and job creation, young polualtion can become a good source of revenue generator for a nation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the potential problems and benefits of having a population with a large proportion of young adults, and a clear position is established in the introduction that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Ideas are generally extended and supported, such as when the student mentions India as an example for the disadvantages of unemployment, and points to workforce productivity and innovation for the advantages. However, some arguments lack full development or rely on brief explanations, which keeps the task response firmly at the Band 6.0 level. For instance, the paragraph regarding community events and raising awareness is rather brief and underdeveloped compared to the economic arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear stance and distinct paragraphs for the introduction, disadvantages, advantages, and conclusion. Cohesive devices are used to signal relationships, such as 'Although this situation', 'Therefore', 'For example', and 'In addition'. However, paragraphing and referencing occasionally feel a bit mechanical or repetitive, and some transitional links are abrupt. For instance, the transition from economic benefits to social contributions in the fourth paragraph ('Another benefit of having young population is that there contribution in society is huge') lacks smooth connection. Overall, the logical progression is clear enough to satisfy the requirements of Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'accommodation', 'unemployment rate', 'innovation', and 'vocational training'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including 'poplualtion', 'accomodation', 'younsters', 'there contribution' instead of 'their contribution', 'economical growth' instead of 'economic growth', 'raipdly', and 'trainning'. These lexical and spelling inaccuracies occur frequently enough to impede precision, aligning the writing with the Band 6.0 descriptor for lexical resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
The writer employs a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing conditional structures and relative clauses (e.g., 'If government fails to provide equal employment opportunities, the unemployment rate will increase significantly'). However, there are numerous grammatical errors involving subject-verb agreement ('population of young adults are higher', 'government need to invest'), missing articles ('on the these facilities', 'in education'), and incorrect pluralisation ('young adults polulation', 'young population is that there contribution'). These errors are frequent, though they rarely impede overall communication, which is characteristic of a Band 5.5 to 6.0 performance. Control of basic structures is solid, but accuracy in complex structures needs improvement.
