Student answer (Band 5.5)

This present age, the inhabitanats of few countries have a certainly huge number of youth as compared to figure of older ones. Both have some advantages like economic growth and productivity, lower healthcare burden and technolgical innovation also few disadvantages as high youth unemployment and lack of experience.

Let's discuss the benefits of this situation. A country having a large number of young blood would has potential to rule the world because this generation does not worried about their health and do work properly and generate enough revenue for comapanies. This could support the massive production and make the government even stronger by growing their economy. Another reason to prove that youth is an asset for any country is that they have strong and skillful brains which helps to become something in tech department. Country should emerge as science innovative so, these are the some main reasons that having a young adults should be beneficial for any country.

Now, we move towards the drawbacks of this statement. The main reason behind these limitations is lack of experience because young ones does not know anything about their working department before they should join it. Companies would gave them training about their work, which results in loss of huge amount that came in their training sessions and also they could do something wrong initially that also came in company's loss. Another shortcoming of this statement is that high youth unemployment, when a huge crowd would come for a job with just need of one than definately unemployment come because country do not have enough resources or seats for a specific job.

In conclusion, as there are many benefits of having a young blood such as productivity and technological innovation but also some drawbacks as unemployment and lack of experience.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both sides of the question by discussing productivity and technological development as benefits, and unemployment and limited experience as drawbacks. However, the task asks whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and your position is not made clear: the conclusion lists both sides but does not state which is more significant. Several points are also asserted rather than explained. For example, the claim that young people can “rule the world” is broad, and the discussion of training costs does not show how serious this drawback is compared with the benefits. State your judgement directly in the introduction and conclusion, then support each main point with a specific explanation or relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on drawbacks, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “Let's discuss the benefits” and “Now, we move towards the drawbacks” helps readers follow the shift in focus. However, these transitions are somewhat mechanical, and the conclusion mainly repeats points rather than bringing the argument to a clear resolution. Some links between ideas are also unclear, particularly the move from young people’s health to working properly and generating company revenue. Use more natural transitions and make the relationship between each claim and its explanation explicit. A clearer progression from your position to supporting reasons would strengthen the essay.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “economic growth,” “productivity,” “technological innovation,” “unemployment,” and “lack of experience.” This gives you a basic range for discussing the issue. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or informal, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. Phrases such as “young blood,” “rule the world,” and “come for a job with just need of one” are not suitable or precise in this context. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “inhabitanats,” “technolgical,” and “definately.” Build a more accurate set of formal expressions for describing demographic and economic effects, and check spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including sentences with “because” and “which,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction can make parts difficult to follow. For example, “would has potential” should use the base form after “would,” while “this generation does not worried” needs a correctly formed verb. In “young ones does not know,” the subject and verb do not agree. Practise building accurate sentences with modal verbs and subordinate clauses, and check each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb before adding further ideas.
