Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays,In some countries there are large number of adults as compared to older people. In this situation there are some advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, young people have more advantages because they can help in country develop.
Frirstly,In advatages of having large number of young people is good thing for a country because they can help in development for country. They can work properly in every situation because of their young age and young mind. They create a lot of thing for their country like,in indutries they make solar pannels,in bussiness field they grow their work in very short time because of their young mind.Secondly, young people also can help in country economy they inhance economy with their great knowledge. They can also work in politics for growing their country in everything. For example, some Pakistani people work in computer and sale their skills online and get payment in dollars for inhancing their economy.
In drawbacks, there are also a lot of disadvantages of having large young generation beacuse when they are able for job or work but the government does not have any jobs. They become jobeless and unemployment.its a very difficult thing for them. They cannot lookafter their family because of unemployment. They take too much stress of this and become weaker and their mental health is also disturbed.Government should gives jobs to young people. For instance, society have jobs but we have lot of young people. When the job is available for only 20 people but 100 people apply for this job. This is the main issues of having a large young generation.
In conclusion, There a lot of advantages of having large young generation but also we have disadvantages of this. Government should gives a job to every young people and give opportunities to them to make them confident. Also having young people is greate for economical issue for our country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and state a clear view: young people bring advantages because they can contribute to national development. Relevant points include their potential contribution to industry, business and the economy, alongside the risk of unemployment and its effects on families and mental health. The examples about Pakistanis earning dollars online and a job attracting 100 applicants help make the discussion concrete. However, the advantages are asserted more than explained: for instance, the solar-panel example is not linked clearly to wider benefits, and the conclusion does not weigh the two sides explicitly. Develop the comparison by explaining why the benefits do or do not outweigh the employment pressures, and support each main point with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “For example,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages. The central progression is generally clear, but cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and some links between ideas are abrupt. For example, the move from young people working in politics to the example of online work is not fully explained. Repeated references to “young people” and “country” also make the flow less smooth, while punctuation and spacing around linking phrases sometimes obscure sentence boundaries. Use a wider range of natural transitions and make the relationship between each example and its supporting point explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “development,” “economy,” “unemployment,” “mental health,” and “opportunities.” Some phrases also attempt to be specific, such as “payment in dollars” and “apply for this job.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, including “Frirstly,” “advatages,” “indutries,” “pannels,” and “jobeless.” Phrases such as “young mind” and “grow their work” are also unclear or unnatural in context. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for employment and economic growth. More precise vocabulary would help distinguish the benefits of a youthful population from the challenges of insufficient job creation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the reader can generally understand the intended meaning. For example, the sentence beginning “When the job is available for only 20 people” introduces a useful conditional situation, while the response also uses clauses with “because.” However, control is inconsistent: “there are large number” lacks an article, “Government should gives” has incorrect subject–verb agreement and verb form, and “society have jobs” has an agreement error. Some sentences run together or have unclear boundaries, particularly in the opening and the advantages paragraph. Practise accurate articles, plural forms, and verb patterns, then punctuate each complete sentence carefully. Greater control of these basics would make your ideas easier to follow.
