Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, the population of some countries consists of large number of young adults as compared to the number of older people.
This has numerous positive and negative effects. This can only be beneficial if the young adults have clear goals and they are disclipne with their goals. The young adults play an crucial role in country's development. They bring new ideas, promote creativity and provide better solution to today's problem such as in politics and economics. They are aware with the common problems experienced in daily life and provide much better solution to older people. Young adults also know the requirements of modern days society better than old aged people.
However, as young people have no experience in past. Indeed, they have good knowledge of their feilds but majority of them have no idea about implementing their learning in practical life. Also, Older people are experienced with old methods only and do not know about modern days.
In my prespective, This scenario has more advantages than disadvantages if young adults are ambitious, responsible, confident and honest with their countries. For instance, I think giving opportunity to young adults in politics will be beneficial for various reasons. Young people know the system better as they experienced it in their childhood such as cooruption and unimplemention of law, also know the weakness and strength of system. As a result, when they become in power, they work for strengthening the weak point of system and provide better life styles as need for modern days. They aslo promote advanced technology in country which is also beneficial for future nations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the question directly and state a clear view: the situation has “more advantages than disadvantages,” provided young adults are responsible and goal-oriented. Relevant benefits include innovation, understanding current social problems, and bringing technology into politics. The discussion of limited practical experience also acknowledges a genuine drawback. However, the comparison is not fully developed: the disadvantage is brief, and the claim that young people understand the system better because they experienced its problems in childhood needs clearer explanation or evidence. Some benefits, such as providing “better solution to older people,” are also unclear. To strengthen the response, explain how the advantages outweigh the risks and support each main point with a specific, well-explained example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on drawbacks, and a concluding position with an example. This makes the main line of argument understandable. Some connections between ideas, however, are abrupt or unclear. For example, “However, as young people have no experience in past” does not form a complete contrast, and the shift from young people’s experience of childhood problems to their ability to strengthen political systems needs an explicit link. The conclusion also introduces several new claims rather than drawing together the earlier comparison. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the point it supports; vary linking phrases so the progression feels less mechanical.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “creativity,” “implementing,” “ambitious,” and “strengthening,” to discuss social and political development. These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond basic terms. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling sometimes make the meaning less precise: “aware with” and “better solution to older people” are awkward, while “cooruption” and “unimplemention” are misspelled or incorrectly formed. Repetition of “young adults,” “better,” and “system” also limits flexibility. Aim to learn vocabulary in natural phrases and check word forms and spelling. More precise expressions for practical experience and public-sector problems would make the argument clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional language (“This can only be beneficial if…”) and a result clause beginning “As a result.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Articles and agreement need attention in “a large number,” “an crucial role,” and “better solution”; the final phrase “as need for modern days” also has an incomplete grammatical structure. The sentence beginning “However, as young people…” is a fragment, and punctuation is missing between some sentences, as in “economics.They.” These issues do not generally prevent communication, but they reduce accuracy. Practise complete contrast clauses, article use, and sentence boundaries, then proofread for agreement and punctuation.
