Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you argue that a large young population is beneficial, and you support this with points about workforce availability, business investment and freelancing. These are relevant reasons, and the examples help illustrate your view. However, the task asks whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, while your response discusses advantages almost exclusively. It does not explain what disadvantages might arise, such as pressure on employment, education or public services, or why the benefits are greater despite them. Some claims are also broad—for example, that a young workforce makes the economy “automatically” better—and the examples are not developed with specific detail. Addressing both sides and weighing them explicitly would make the response more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an opening position, two body paragraphs presenting benefits, and a conclusion that restates the view. Paragraphs generally have a central focus, and connectors such as “Moreover,” “For example” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the argument. However, the progression is somewhat mechanical, and the two body paragraphs largely add similar economic benefits without building a comparison or weighing advantages against disadvantages. Some references are unclear, as in “they were able to attract many companies,” where the country or its young population is not clearly identified. The phrase “Since,” at the start of a sentence also creates an awkward link. More precise referencing and a paragraph that considers the opposing side would strengthen the flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “workforce,” “freelancing,” “foreign currency” and “economic success,” which allows you to communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at more formal expressions such as “a boon for a country.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive: “servers advantage,” “center for business hub” and “bring a great number of foreign currency” do not sound natural. Several spelling errors, including “stuation,” “perfers” and “capablity,” also reduce accuracy. Repeated use of “country,” “young” and “because of this” limits flexibility. Aim to learn vocabulary in natural phrases and check spelling and word forms; this will make your argument clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “where” and “Since,” and the overall meaning is usually understandable. However, there are some recurring errors in agreement, articles and sentence construction. For example, “they work very hard and contributes” should keep the verb forms parallel, while “a lot of reason” needs a plural noun and “a good skills” has an incorrect article and number. In “once a country become,” the verb form does not agree with its subject. Some sentences also have awkward punctuation or clause connections, such as “Since, young workforce…” Practise checking subject–verb agreement, singular and plural forms, and sentence boundaries, while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
