The chart below shows how frequently people in the USA ate in fast food restaurants between 2003 and 2013.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The bar chart illustrates the frequency of eating at fast food restaurants among people in the USA (2003 and 2013).

Overall, it is evident that the largest number of individuals ate food once a week and twice a month, while the less frequency of fast food had everyday meal and never.

In 2003, the highest number of public preffered fast food meal once a week, accounted with around 32%. Furthermore, a significant number of people also chose meal twice a month with 30% ones. The less frequency given that in two distinct category, Everyday meal and never in decade.

In 2006, the most individuals used meals once a week, considered with approximately 33%. In addition, the level had been increased in 2013, people usually had meal once or twice a month, regarded with 33% proportion level. The two categories had lowest frequency, Everyday and never had below 5% proportion in all three years.
