Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response covers the main features of the chart, but the analysis is somewhat mechanical and lacks a clear, cohesive overview of the trends. While you identified the categories, the comparison between them is limited. For example, stating that 'more than 15 percent individuals eat several times' is vague, and the comparison to '3 times of daily customers' is confusing and mathematically unclear. To improve, ensure you highlight the most significant changes or stability across the decade rather than just listing data points. The overview provided is a good start, but it needs to be more comprehensive to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the information. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat repetitive and mechanical, relying heavily on simple transitions like 'Moreover' and 'In the year of'. The progression of ideas is logical, but the connection between sentences could be smoother. For instance, the transition between the discussion of daily customers and those who never eat fast food feels abrupt. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear thematic focus would enhance the overall flow and coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. You frequently use basic phrases such as 'percentage of people' and 'eat fast food'. There are also some minor inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'USA people' instead of 'people in the USA' or 'US citizens'. To achieve a higher score, try to incorporate more sophisticated synonyms and precise reporting verbs (e.g., 'remained stable', 'fluctuated', 'witnessed a marginal increase'). Expanding your range of vocabulary to describe trends more accurately will help you demonstrate a better command of the language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Common issues include missing articles (e.g., 'in period of ten years' should be 'in the period of ten years') and incorrect preposition usage. Additionally, there are punctuation errors, such as the unnecessary comma before 'Which' in the final paragraph. While these errors do not prevent the meaning from being understood, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of sentence construction, particularly regarding subject-verb agreement and article usage.
