The chart below shows how frequently people in the USA ate in fast food restaurants between 2003 and 2013.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given bar chart illustrates how frequently people living in USA consumed fast food in restaurants between the time frame of 10 years.

Overall, through the bar chart we can note that, the timeline has been divided into 3: 2003,2006 and 2013. Also, the category of people has been distributed into six.

To begin with, the number of individuals that ate food from the restaurant daily were approximately at 5% for 10 years. Furthermore, there were humans in the region of 5% that never eat from restaurant during the years 2003 to 2013. Whereas, people that consumed fast food once a week and once or twice a month in eatery were around 25 to 35%, moreover in 2006 consumption of quick meal in once a week at dinning places was at the peak with roughly 35%, however in 2013 individuals that ate once or twice a month rose and dominated the proportion with around 35%. The percentage of people that ate serval times a week remained in 15 to 20% throughout the years. Last but not least people that consumed quick meal in restaurants were around 15%.
