The chart below shows how frequently people in the USA ate in fast food restaurants between 2003 and 2013.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar chart illustrates how often the individuals in the United State of America ate in outdoor fast food resaurants in 2003, 2006 and 2013.
In the year 2003, just below 5% of people ate fast food everyday and after three years the percentage droped to almost middle of 0 and 5 percent .The percentage of people having fast food on the daily basis remains same in the year 2013. The percentage of the individuals who ate fast food multiple times a week was just above the 15% during 2013. In the same year, nearly 28% of USA residents ate fats food once a week. Almost 25% of individuals go out for fast food once or twice in every 7 day period during 2006. During 2006 and 2013, less than 5% of people never ate fast.
The percentage of public who ate fast food several times a week rose to 20% in 2006 and in the same year the people who go for fats food once a week was almost between 30% and 35%. In 2013, the percentage of the individauls who ate fast food once or twice in a 7 days peiod reached a level of almost 33%. In 2006 and after next three years, the total percentage of people who ate junk food a few times a year remains same at 15%.
