Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some residents believed that it is mandatory to spend large amount of money on renew railway tracks for very fast trains between cities, while, some of them believed that the funds should be spent on improving already built in public transports. In my opinion, amount spend on improving the tracks and trains are much benefical far more than new railway lines.
In that essay will discuss both point of views of residents in the below.
Initially, some people have strong point of purchasing new railways tracks for fast and convenient journey. In this way, they are able to cover their distance from office to home and others route distances. As they are think time is much more improtant then money, through this also enhance beauty and much upgraded version of railways tracks boost the city value.
Although, some people believed that a little money should spent on their maintance to improved the existing public transports. For that, funds should be saved and utilized for other puposes. For example, remaining amount should be spent on health and education sector for their progress.
To sum up, in my perspective, money should be spent on enhancing the public transport as these use more frequently between the cities and much beneficals for students, employees as well as other residents of the states. In contrast, it will be save a lot of funds through this and able to use remaining funds in other purposes of country reputation and enhancing of other public sectors through this citizens easily get outweighs.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. For instance, the argument for new railway lines is vague, mentioning only 'convenient journey' and 'city value' without explaining the economic or social impact. Similarly, the argument for improving existing transport is underdeveloped, relying on general statements about saving funds for health and education. The response meets the minimum length requirement, but the ideas lack the depth and specific examples required for a higher band score. To improve, you should expand on your points with concrete examples or logical consequences.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'In that essay will discuss' and 'In contrast, it will be save a lot of funds' are awkward and disrupt the flow. The transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the final paragraph where the connection between public transport and 'country reputation' is not logically linked. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and collocation, such as 'already built in public transports' instead of 'existing public transport' and 'much benefical' instead of 'more beneficial'. The phrasing 'cover their distance from office to home' is unnatural. While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the basic meaning, it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You should focus on learning common collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary to express your ideas more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('Some residents believed', 'As they are think'), article usage, and sentence structure ('In that essay will discuss', 'it will be save a lot of funds'). The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple or slightly flawed complex sentences. To improve, you need to work on basic sentence construction, verb tense consistency, and the correct use of prepositions. Proofreading your work for these common errors would help you achieve a higher score.
