Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this fast growing world, ——

Many people believe that too much amount of money should be risk-taking in science, compare to other subgeets. I partically agree with this statement, because in future science is necessary but other sugects as also very essincital for next generation.

Firstly, nowadays science is very important in every field. And also for future generation. Because, in future there so many people who are suffer from various cheeyes like body pain, cancer, brain tumour, etc. To avoid this problem in future, government should invested more in science. So, people who suffer they can get better treatment. And it also show the economic of India or health care service in India. Also taking risk on science may be more good for the future or next generation. For example, according to survey of India 2014, in 2014 there is no good medicial facelities but that time people invest in science, so today, we are have

good medicinal service and people less suffer with diesease because India has every treatment of diesease.

But, invest in science is not always good decision because science is necessary but other subject are also very important an human life. Like account, economic, business study etc. Account gives knowledge about fanace which is very esstinal for humd life. they can learned how to balance money in life. As well as, economic is also important because it show the economic condtion of the country. And business study gave knowledge about business. How to grow our business and how to manage it. For example, according the survey of Indaar 2020, student are more grown in business feild compare to past. Because, student have knowledg about market.

In conclusion, there are so many person say that more invest in science compare to other subjeet. But my perpestave I partially agree with this statement. Because it science is necessary but other subgeets is also very necessary for future.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response fails to address the specific prompt provided. The task asks for a discussion on spending money on 'new railway lines' versus 'improving existing public transport'. However, the student writes about 'investing in science' versus 'other subjects'. Because the response is entirely off-topic regarding the specific subject matter of the prompt, it cannot be awarded a passing score for Task Achievement. While the student does provide a position and some supporting ideas, they are irrelevant to the actual question asked.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a basic attempt at logical progression using transition words like 'Firstly', 'But', and 'In conclusion'. However, the internal cohesion is often mechanical and sometimes confusing due to the lack of clarity in the arguments. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences is frequently interrupted by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, which makes the text difficult to follow at times.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'subgeets', 'essincital', 'cheeyes', 'medicial', 'facelities', 'diesease', 'fanace', 'esstinal', 'perpestave') that occasionally impede communication. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas, relying on basic terms and incorrect word choices. The student struggles to use academic collocations appropriate for an IELTS essay.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('other subject are also', 'student are more grown'), incorrect verb forms ('government should invested'), and sentence fragments. There is very little evidence of complex sentence structures, and the basic structures used are often inaccurate. Punctuation is also inconsistent. These errors are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader in understanding the intended meaning.
