Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, having a reliable transportation becomes every country dream. few people thinks that higher authority should invest large amount of money to build new railway lines for fast services, while other thinks they should spent on available public transport like buses. I think investing on existing public transport would be much better. due to some reason's that I will discuss in the upcoming paragraphs.
There are many reason that why people think that government should spend money on new railway lines. The first and foremost reason is that it will help to reduce traffic . To explain it, when new railway lines will be constructed underground then it will help to reduce traffic as outside railways create traffic as people get late to reach on their destination. Secondly, if people has more option then it will save their time and they may do not get worried about getting late.
On the flip side, some thinks they have to allocate money on public transport. Firstly, it will help to people save their money and time. To elucidate it, when pubic transportation is better and punctuale then insead of using their own vehicle people will use public transportation that not only beneficial for people but also for enviroment. Secondly, It will help to reduce traffic, when people will use pubic transportation then traffic will reduce and it helps to clean air that get polluted due to harmful gases that produced by vehicles.
Moreover, it is technical era, everyone busy in their own life so people are no each other but when people will use pubic transportation, they may become sociable and expand their horizon of knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument regarding high-speed trains is slightly confused, as the student mentions 'underground' construction, which is not necessarily inherent to high-speed rail. The points regarding existing public transport are more relevant but lack depth in terms of economic or logistical analysis. While the task is addressed, the supporting arguments could be more thoroughly extended to reach a higher band. The position is consistent throughout the essay, which is a positive feature.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'first and foremost', 'on the flip side', and 'in conclusion', though some are used mechanically or with minor errors (e.g., 'there are many reason that why'). The referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by grammatical inaccuracies. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different viewpoints, which helps the reader follow the structure of the argument. Overall, the organization is coherent, but the management of cohesive devices could be more sophisticated.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several spelling errors, such as 'punctuale', 'enviroment', 'pubic' (instead of public), and 'perove'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, relying on basic terms like 'good', 'better', and 'help'. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary, the persistent spelling mistakes and the limited range of collocations prevent a higher score. To improve, the student should focus on accurate spelling and incorporating more academic synonyms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('few people thinks', 'other thinks'), missing articles ('it will help to people'), and incorrect verb forms ('gases that produced by vehicles'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage and capitalization. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction limits the score. More attention to proofreading for subject-verb agreement and article usage is essential.
