Student answer (Band 5.5)
Public transports are very esential part of comman man's daily life and it is very huge responsiblity for government. One group of people believes that the money should be use to construct new railway lines for batter and fast transportation between two city, while other group is agains with the first group and argue that the public transports which are existing they should be improved. befor my opinion, bothe argue is elaborate is upcoming paragraphes.
Among every resons why new railway lines itroduce, the most significant is that it gives more shorter and conviniant journy to the people. By expand rail lines people can reach directly one city to anothere widhout number of stopes which consume less time and less energy. Moreover, New development is increase government source of income. because of conveniancy more individuals choose that which help to improve government fund.
In contrast, other side is not naglagable because if current public transport is developed at atmost level, people are take public transport inspide of private vehicals. As result of that trafic congetio and pollution is decreased at certain level. In addition, By improving public transport facility which already there the regulatery bodies does not need any extra place to build new structure, which decreas cost and on place of that they can build some other construction.
According to my opinion, the new development of rail line can give mor benifits to the people because it is time-saving and effortable.
In conclusion, I agree that new railways should give more benifits in conveniancy and fast traveling. On the other hand the improvement of current transport also needed because it help decrease pollution and trafic.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and state a clear preference for new railway lines, especially in “According to my opinion” and the conclusion. The discussion includes relevant reasons: faster journeys and possible income for government on one side, and reduced congestion, pollution, and construction costs on the other. However, the development is uneven. The benefits of existing transport are explained with several consequences, while the claim that new railways increase government income is asserted without showing how this would happen. Your position would be more convincing if you explained why the advantages of high-speed rail outweigh the benefits of improving current services, using a specific example or clearer supporting detail.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This makes the overall argument easy to follow. You also use signposts such as “Moreover,” “In contrast,” and “In conclusion” to show relationships between ideas. At times, however, the linking feels mechanical, and some references are unclear. For example, “that which help to improve government fund” does not clearly identify what “that” refers to, while “other side” is less precise than naming the view being discussed. The conclusion repeats the main points rather than drawing them together. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each reason explicitly to its consequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to transport and public policy, including “railway lines,” “traffic congestion,” “pollution,” and “construction.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, but spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable throughout, as in “esential,” “conviniant,” “naglagable,” and “benifits.” Some combinations are also unnatural or unclear, such as “government source of income” and “at atmost level.” This limits precision and can make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations as complete phrases, for example, “generate government revenue” and “improve existing services.” Aim to use a smaller set of precise expressions reliably.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, more complex sentences, including a conditional structure beginning “if current public transport is developed.” However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur in several places. For example, “the money should be use” needs a passive verb form, and “people are take public transport” has an incorrect verb pattern. The opening sentence also has agreement problems, and the sentence beginning “Moreover, New development is increase” is not grammatically controlled. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas harder to understand. Practise accurate passive forms, subject–verb agreement, and clauses with “if”; then proofread each sentence for a complete and correctly formed verb.
