Student answer (Band 4.5)

In some countries there people speaculating that it is nessessary to spends a significant amount of money on construction and implement new railways line for very fast tranis between cities, While others belevie that funds should be spend on improving theri exsiting public transport. In my opinion, I claim that counstrution and new railways side more essential from public exsiting trasport.

In some countries wheras people live in educated socitey they have jobs and they wrok every day and also improving you country name. However for those people who works hard for country, We want to build new and advanced buillings with alot of facilties wheras they perform well and work easily and also improve there trasport system beacuse if you have not agood trasnport system then you cant not be improve your socity and others thing. The authorties should spend more funds on it beacuse the feedback were be unpricless and they support hard workers and make easy things for those individuals.

By other hand public exsiting transport we know that the world becomes advaced. Every one have their own private cars becuase they feel ccomfartable and also enjoy theri journes. However they should spend less money on it beacuse it disapire time to time and people goes to private transport and also want theri privacy with theri family and they went every wherears where they want and feel safe.

In counclusion, Govermnet spend more funds and support who works hard and try to improve theri country name so we want to help them and make thing easy for them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state an opinion in the opening—“new railways [are] more essential”—and return to government support in the conclusion. However, the response addresses the two views only minimally. The paragraph about new railways focuses largely on workers, buildings and improving a country’s name, without explaining clearly how high-speed rail benefits travel between cities. The discussion of existing transport is also difficult to follow and does not give a clear case for investing in it. The claim that people have private cars does not explain why existing public transport should receive less funding. To develop the response, explain a specific benefit of each option, support each with a relevant example, and make your comparison and position explicit throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify an intended overall structure. You also attempt to signal contrast with “However” and “By other hand.” Nevertheless, ideas within the paragraphs are not arranged in a clear sequence: the first body paragraph moves from employment to buildings, facilities and transport without showing how these points connect. Several sentences are joined by repeated “and also,” while references such as “it” and “they” do not always make clear what is being discussed. The conclusion repeats the general idea of helping workers rather than drawing together the two views. Use one main point per paragraph, develop it in a logical order, and use clear references and linking phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “significant amount of money,” “public transport,” “private cars” and “privacy,” and you try to express ideas about investment and transport. However, the range is basic and often repetitive, and frequent spelling errors make the message harder to understand: examples include “speaculating,” “nessessary,” “tranis” and “exsiting.” Some word combinations are also unclear or unsuitable, such as “improve your country name” and “the feedback were be unpricless.” Choose precise transport and investment terms, check spelling carefully, and use natural collocations. For example, describe how a rail project could “reduce journey times” or how existing services could be “upgraded,” rather than relying on vague phrases such as “make thing easy.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “however,” and the reader can sometimes recover your intended meaning. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in verb forms, agreement and sentence construction. Examples include “it is nessessary to spends,” “funds should be spend,” “people who works,” and “Every one have.” Some long sentences combine several ideas without clear grammatical boundaries, as in the sentence beginning “However for those people who works hard for country.” Use shorter, complete sentences while checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms; then practise adding one well-controlled subordinate clause at a time. This will make your reasoning easier to follow.
