Student answer (Band 5.5)

In many countries, some individuals point of view is that the government need to make new fast tracks for train that went to abroad. However, others beleive that government needs to improve the public transport .I completely beleive that government shoupd improve the facilities of public transport over new railway tracks because some people dont like to travel through trains and it is also less economical decision.

firstly, there are many people who beleive that government needs to build new fast tracks for train to travel fast .They think it improve their life and it is beneficial for them.New tracks are more faster so they went to their destination more quickly. For instance ,China invented new bullet train that is going very fast towards its destination

However, others beleive that government needs to improve the public transport over train tracks because some individuals dont like the journey of train. Moreover,Some people like to drive by themselves so its better to improve the tracks .For instance ,Pakistani government make new highways for transport and its very beneficial for their public. Its minimum high speed is 100 km per hour so people love to drive on highways

In conclusion , i strogly beleive that improve the track of transport is very important and government needs to do that because its beneficial for local transport and people love to drive on these new tracks and they also need to make one line for ambulance .So pateint should rescue in least time and its good for health of the public

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You present a clear preference for improving existing public transport, and you discuss both the case for fast rail and the alternative. The China bullet-train example supports the speed argument, while the Pakistan highway example illustrates investment in road transport. However, the response only partly develops the task: the highway discussion shifts from public transport to private driving, and the claim that some people dislike trains does not explain how improving public transport would benefit them. Your conclusion adds an ambulance lane, but this point is not developed in the main discussion and does not clearly support the comparison. Explain the benefits and drawbacks of each investment more directly, and connect each example to your position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “However,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is limited: several claims are placed next to one another without explaining their relationship, and the second body paragraph moves from train travel to private cars and highways. Some linking is repetitive, particularly the repeated use of “because” and “For instance,” while punctuation and spacing make transitions less clear. To improve, give each paragraph one central point, develop it with explanation and evidence, and use references and linking phrases that show the precise connection between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “public transport,” “railway tracks,” “bullet train,” “highways,” and “destination,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or awkward, which sometimes makes the intended meaning unclear. For example, “fast tracks for train that went to abroad” does not clearly describe high-speed rail between cities, and “minimum high speed” is not a natural way to describe a highway speed limit. Spelling errors such as “beleive,” “strogly,” and “pateint” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise transport vocabulary and check spelling; choose expressions that distinguish rail services, road infrastructure, and public transport.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences, including “I completely believe that government should improve…” and the sentence beginning “So patient should…,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur frequently: “the government need” should use a singular verb, while “They think it improve” needs an appropriate verb form. The opening also contains an incomplete or unclear construction, and several sentences run together without correct spacing or punctuation. Most sentences follow simple patterns, so the range remains limited. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled clauses using “because,” “although,” or “which.” Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries during proofreading.
