Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, more on young people are using public transport to much save money for there budget of transportation. It seems more of them is likely to use it for there to keep more convenient.

Some people wants to emphasize the budget for constructing new railways line for very fast trains beetween cities because it is more accessible for many young people who works in large cities and far away to there place.

For example, if they give an attention to this matter and more spend budget for this most of the people will mucg prepare and more reliable to use this transportation.

However, Other people believes that money should be spent on improving existing public transport for that some of people much afford the cost of daily transportation because this is lower cost rather than to use railways. For instance if there improve this public transportation other workers and specially to students who will afford the cost of transportation will satisfy and will get more save money and it will keep this to spend for the other necessity.

In my opinion both of this concern must take an action for the sake of each and everyone who will use this kind of transportation in everyday life. This will be more significant if they spent both money so that all people will appreciate the project of different government countries.

In conclusion this is necessarily

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both views: the first body paragraph supports new fast railways, while the next argues that improving existing transport would help workers and students afford daily travel. You also give an opinion, but “both of this concern must take an action” does not clearly explain which investment you favour or how the two approaches should be balanced. The supporting examples remain general and some points are difficult to follow, so the discussion is only partially developed. The conclusion, “In conclusion this is necessarily,” is incomplete and does not summarise your position. The response is 224 words, 26 words below the 250-word minimum; 9 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop each view with a clear reason and a specific example, then finish with a complete conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, an opinion paragraph and a conclusion. Connectors such as “However,” “For example” and “In conclusion” help signal the intended relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the opening paragraph discusses young people and saving money without establishing a clear link to the two investment options, and several sentences combine ideas whose relationship is hard to follow. References such as “this matter,” “this” and “this kind of transportation” are not always precise. The final conclusion is unfinished, which interrupts the overall progression. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, make references explicit, and ensure each paragraph develops one connected line of reasoning.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “constructing new railways,” “fast trains,” “public transport,” “daily transportation” and “cost.” This gives the reader a basic sense of the topic. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling problems make meaning less clear, such as “more on young people,” “mucg prepare,” “keep more convenient” and “more save money.” Repetition of “transportation,” “money” and “people” also limits precision. Aim to learn common topic collocations, for example “invest in high-speed rail,” “upgrade existing services” and “reduce commuting costs.” Check spelling and choose words that express the intended meaning directly; this will make your arguments easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if they give an attention to this matter…” and a reason clause beginning “because.” This shows an effort to connect ideas rather than relying only on short statements. However, control is inconsistent: subject–verb agreement is faulty in “Some people wants” and “Other people believes,” and pronouns and possessives are confused in “there budget” and “there place.” Articles and sentence construction also need attention, as in “give an attention” and “for that some of people.” The final fragment, “In conclusion this is necessarily,” is not a complete sentence. Practise accurate agreement, articles and complete sentence patterns, and proofread punctuation and sentence endings.
