Student answer (Band 4.5)
Transport is very important for every person who live every were like cars buses and train. Some people think large amounts of money is spending on construction of new railway lines for very fast trains. Government provied us a best railway lines and speed depend on straight line or ziczac ways. And fast speed is harmful for traveling one place to another. There is proper chart of speed driver know very well about it. Overall other thinks money spend on improvement in existing public transport. It is very best initiative's for local transport. But make more best changes in railway line for train comfort its best for long rout drive.
Spend more money on railway track is better because alot or moderate people use train as a transport for going anywhere. And train provide us a very low amount tickets in price. Other side local transport for long drive they get huge amount of money. Train give us a very smooth drive and provide all facilities as well like Ac and comfortable seats as well.
If we think about local transport it is littel bit uncomfortable for long drive and high expensive and some car have Ac and some may not.
I recommend spend more money on railway tracks it is best for all people instead of local transport . Due to lack of best infrastructure of road local transport may not comfortable for long drive so don't spend much more money on local road . I go with train railway lines.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear preference for spending on railways, especially in “I recommend spend more money on railway tracks,” and you offer relevant reasons such as lower ticket prices, comfort and the number of people who use trains. However, the discussion of the opposing view is brief and not fully explained: local transport is described as uncomfortable and expensive, but there is little consideration of how improving buses or other existing services could benefit passengers. Several points, including the comments about train speed and road infrastructure, are unclear or only loosely connected to the comparison. To strengthen the response, explain both options more fully and support your preference with a specific example or a clearer chain of reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has some paragraphing, and the final paragraph makes your position apparent. There is also a basic attempt to contrast views through phrases such as “Other side” and “If we think about local transport.” However, ideas do not progress consistently: the opening moves from transport in general to train speed, then to a “proper chart of speed,” without showing how these points relate to the task. Connections between sentences are often unclear, and repeated references to trains and local transport do not build a well-organised comparison. Use one paragraph for each view, followed by a conclusion, and make each paragraph develop a central point with clear linking and reference.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “railway lines,” “public transport,” “tickets,” “infrastructure” and “comfortable seats,” so the reader can identify the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow, such as “a proper chart of speed,” “long rout drive” and “local transport for long drive they get huge amount of money.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “provied,” “littel” and “initiative's,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise transport vocabulary and learn common combinations, for example “high-speed rail,” “existing bus services,” “fares” and “improve the road network.” Check spelling and avoid repeating broad terms when a more exact one is available.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
Most sentences rely on simple structures, and attempts to express more complex ideas are often inaccurate. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “every person who live” and “money is spending,” while “Government provied us a best railway lines” has problems with articles, number and sentence structure. Other examples, such as “I recommend spend more money” and “some car have Ac,” show recurring issues with verb patterns and plurals. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to understand. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled clauses using “because,” “although” and “which.” Pay particular attention to subject–verb agreement, articles, plural nouns and verb forms after “recommend.”
