Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, in the world many people have different views about invest mony in railways and roads. In a number of states, some individuals argue it is significant to spend huge amount of money on build new railway lines for very fast trains between cities. Others think the money ought to be invest for better existing public vehicles. In this eassy, I will discuss about both these views and in my opinion, in the present seneario both are currect because both have important benifits, as like trains are comfortable and timely reached their location, while public transport are cost effective and easily to travel in intracity.
In the first view, invest money in constructing new railways station is siginificant role for travelars from one city to another city because it is comfortable and reliable, such as its seats are very soft and more leg space between seats. Moreover, train reach on time and never late, this reason is that in the route there are not any traffice light signals. For example, during traveling by train not any signal to stop train and continously passing the every areas.
In the second view, some people think that invest mony to enhance public transport, it is also true because public vehicles move in the city is easy and safe. For example, by using these transports people can going own offices on time and come back to home without wasting time. Furthermore, it is cheap and individuals move in less value of money

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You introduce both views and give a position, saying that “both are currect,” with brief reasons about comfort, punctuality and affordability. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the railway paragraph focuses mainly on soft seats and the absence of traffic signals, while the public-transport paragraph gives little explanation of how investment would improve existing services. Your opinion is stated but not fully justified or compared. The response also contains 237 words, below the required 250; the 10 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Add a developed explanation of the benefits and limitations of each option, then support your preference with a relevant example and a clear concluding statement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction followed by one paragraph for each view. Signposting such as “In the first view,” “In the second view,” and “Moreover” helps readers identify the main sections. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “this reason is that” does not connect the punctuality claim smoothly to its explanation, and the final paragraph ends without a conclusion that brings the discussion together. Some ideas also run into one another because punctuation and spacing are inconsistent. To improve, organise each body paragraph around a clear main point, explain it in a logical sequence, and use a final paragraph to restate your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “constructing new railway lines,” “reliable,” “public transport,” and “cost effective,” so the topic is generally clear. However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, word-form and spelling errors make parts difficult to read. Examples include “invest mony,” “public vehicles,” “in the present seneario,” and “less value of money.” Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “train reach on time and never late.” Aim to use accurate transport-related phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you explain the benefits of high-speed rail and improvements to local services without relying on repeated general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast with “while” and explanations introduced by “because.” However, errors are frequent, and some sentence patterns make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “it is significant to spend huge amount of money on build” has problems with the infinitive pattern and article use, while “people can going own offices” has an incorrect verb form and missing grammatical elements. Subject–verb agreement is also inconsistent in “public vehicles move … is easy” and “train reach.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention, particularly where sentences are joined without a space or a clear break. Practise accurate basic clauses first, then build longer sentences using controlled subordinate clauses.
