Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, in this modern world time is valuable for everyone and save time to manage every work sharply. In a number of states, some individuals argue it is crucial to spend huge amount of money on constructing new railway lines for very speedy trains between cities. Others think the money ought to be spend on enhancing existing public vehicals. In this eassy, I will discuss both sides and In my opinion, both railway lines and public transport are play signaificant role in our country because everyday due to increasing the population of the world, only public transport is not enough for travelling and railway trains also important to control individuals crowd. For example, people are standing in different places for waiting transport in the cities, this huge crowd caused road accident, so to managed this crowd railways are play vital role.
On the one hand, people are think athourities spend large amount of money to constructing new railways line, they believe that these trains are fastly move between cities. In addition, traveling through trains are safe and reliable and individuals reached own location on time. This is because, there are no signal lights between cities and seats are confortable, and more leg room. For example, train provide different fecilities for pessengers like food, internet, washroom and mobile charging.
On the other hand, some people believe that government should spend money in public transport, they think that these vehicles are low cost of tickets and individuals travel everyday from offices. Moreover, some time public transports pervoide discount price in tickets and free wifi. This is because, transport authourties plan to engadged more people to travel in public transport rather than own vehicles. For instance, public transport provide several fecilities that is not in local transport, so several humans can travel everyday through public transport.
In conclusion, althrough railways lines are very important but public transport also plays vital role in our states. In my opinion, both are essentials.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give an opinion, so the response covers the main parts of the task. The opening says that both railways and public transport are important, and the body paragraphs give reasons for each: trains are described as fast, safe and comfortable, while public transport is presented as cheaper and useful for commuting. However, the position remains broad rather than clearly weighing the options, and the conclusion simply repeats that both are essential. Some support is also unclear or insufficiently explained—for example, the claim that railways help control crowds after mentioning road accidents is not fully connected to the argument. Develop each side with a specific, relevant example and explain why it supports your view. The response meets the stated length requirement; nine words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are joined mechanically with “Moreover,” “This is because,” and “For example,” without always showing a clear logical link. The first paragraph, in particular, moves from the value of time to population growth, crowding and accidents in a way that is hard to trace. Some references are also unclear, such as “these vehicles” and “this huge crowd.” Organise each paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “constructing new railway lines,” “public transport,” “reliable,” “discount,” and “facilities,” and you attempt to express ideas about speed, cost and comfort. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices, collocations and spellings make the writing less clear or natural. Examples include “very speedy trains,” “public vehicals,” “fastly move,” and “engadged more people.” Repetition of “important,” “people,” and “transport” also limits flexibility. Aim to learn common transport-related collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; for instance, use “high-speed trains,” “vehicles,” and “encourage more people to use public transport.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including explanations introduced by “because” and examples introduced by “for example.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement and articles sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “save time to manage every work” is not a complete, well-formed continuation of the opening, while “these trains are fastly move” has an incorrect verb construction. In “both railway lines and public transport are play,” the verb pattern and agreement are faulty; “people are think” has a similar problem. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check articles and plurals as well, as in “a huge amount” and “railway lines.”
