Student answer (Band 5.0)
These days, it is commonly seen that railway tracks problems are challenging issue for whole world. In a number of countries, some people argue that it is necessary to spend large sums of money on constructing railway lines for very fast trains between cities while, other refuse it believing that the money should be spent on improving existing public transport. I firmly think that government should spend a huge of money on country to establish a railway path.
According to first view if government spends a large amount of expenditures for easy transportation it will facilate the people to move from one city to another city easily. For instance if travelling consumes less time then workers will have more time to spend on their jobs area and it will bring comfort to them. It will make them healthy and fresh. Its old saying health is wealth so if the travelers have no tough time during voyage they will work in every fields of life with full energy.
While looking the other point in which government should improve only eixting transport also have some positive aspects as its cost is very low. This methos is easy to hold. Also it is safe and sound techniquie with less economic loss risks. For example if a devloping country spends low money on railway paths, and roads then, country will has more chance to use that money for many other purposes like in the field of education and health.
In conclusion it is stated that both options are good if they are taken properly and with honesty. Both have its own pros and cons but situation one is best it will attract the other country people for tourism.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You introduce both views and state a preference for building new railway lines, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the discussion is only partial: the case for high-speed rail is mainly that it saves travel time and may help workers, while the benefits of improving existing transport are briefly described as lower cost and allowing spending on education and health. These points need clearer explanation and more specific support. Your position also becomes less clear in the conclusion, which says both options are good and refers to tourism without explaining why this supports your preferred option. Develop each view more fully and maintain one consistent, clearly justified opinion throughout. The stated length requirement is met; 29 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, a paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main sections. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and some links between ideas are unclear. For example, the claim that faster travel will make people “healthy and fresh” is followed by a general saying rather than a clear explanation. Linking phrases such as “According to first view” and “While looking the other point” are awkward, and the conclusion introduces tourism without connecting it to the earlier reasoning. Use clearer topic sentences, develop each point in a logical sequence, and make references and transitions more precise rather than relying on formulaic connectors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to transport and public spending, including “constructing railway lines,” “existing public transport,” “economic loss,” and “tourism.” This gives you enough language to communicate the broad topic. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “railway tracks problems,” “a huge of money,” “easy transportation,” and “This methos is easy to hold.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “facilitate,” “eixting,” “techniquie,” and “devloping.” Aim for precise, natural combinations such as “transport infrastructure,” “allocate substantial funding,” and “upgrade existing services,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including conditional structures such as “if travelling consumes less time then workers will have more time.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to read. For example, “railway tracks problems are challenging issue” has problems with number and article use, while “country will has more chance” has an incorrect verb form and agreement. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly around introductory clauses and the phrase “Its old saying health is wealth.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea at a time, then check subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation before adding complexity.
