The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
the diagram is represent how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity these process is divided into six stages we will discuss each stage one by one. the first stage is based on to injection the cold water in the well by 4.5 km deeper in the ground through pump.the second stage is that the water passed through geothermal zone which called hot rocks then the water becomes more warm. the 3rd stage is that the warm are lifted upper and through production well.
in 4 stage we will discuss how water convert in to stream.
after reached the water into production well then the water will on condenser or heat the exchange unit converted it into stream in 5 stage the steam circular the turbine eventually turbine play a crucial rule and start the generator then
