IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the Geothermal power plantation, how to generate energy and produce electricity.

Overall, it is evident that the thermal plant divides in five distinct parts. the first part is the cold water pumped down in the land. The last category is that the generate electricity by using turbine and generator.

To commence with, the first part provides a cold water pumped down in the land around 4.5 km deeply then the water production connects through the injection well which one is second part. Furthermore, Geothermal zone locates under the ground area which has connected with cold water and production well. After that, the production well pumped through the hot water and make clouds with used to condenser.

In the followin stage, the clouds are being going to the turbine. Ultimately, the power generates by steam water which made cloud with coundensar, the two main aspects are mainly used for electricity generate, which known as Generator and turbine, through these machines electricity directly produce in tower.
