IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given man made process chart represents production of electricity by geothermal energy

Overall it is crystal clear that it is exactly 5 steps to complete the process . To commence with cold water and end with production of electricity by generator .

The first step is cold water pumped into earth crust approximately in 4.5 km in depth which followed by the injection of wall the cold water comes in contact with hot rock and water get heated . Then the hot water is pumped to surface of earth .

moving ahead in last second step in condenser steam is transfer into the turbine .At the last step steam rotated the turbine and powered transfer to generator after that generator produced the energy then electricity are used for different purpose . Then these step start from the initial stage .
