IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The diagram describes process of how geothermal energy is used to generate electricity.

There are total 5 steps of process, for instance there is water is used that went underground and produce steam which power the electricity with help of generator.

The very first step of producing electricity is first the cold water is pumped down through earth surface, deep inside 4.5 kilometers underground. Then from the injection well with help of geothermal zone which is hot rocky surface then go into the production well. From the production well the cold water convert into hot water and pumped up on the land that create a condenser. The turbine which rotate in circular form which is powered by the steam that come from ground. At last, with help of generator which is powered by turbine in constant energy it produce electricity, then this electricity will send to huge tower and come at all households.
