IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Electricity are produced by various method but the most important method to produce electricity are geothermal . In this method, geothermal energy are consume to generate electricity. Below, the diagram show that complete way to generate electricity. In the first step, a container that are fulfill with cold water and water are pulled down into the earth upto 4.5 km and at the second stage the injection well pass water at geothermal zone contain hot rocks. Then, it reached at third stage that are the production well. At this stage, water are hot then hot water are pumped up to the earth surface. when this hot water are reached at the suface of earth then it passed at the condenser where hot water are converted in the form of steam after the condenser turbine are fixed at the end of the condenser . This steam help to turn the turbine and it generate eletricity and stored in a generator and at the end it transfared into the large transformer.
