The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 4.5)

The electricity produce by hot rocks which covert the cold vwater into hot steam. It done by mechnical method step by step. First cold water pomped down to geothermal zone where rocks have high temperature and due to this temperature the cold water in to hot water and steam comed out from it which routate the turbine by steam which condense by condenser and convert the machinical energy into electircal erengy by generator and electircity produce and it supplies to different place.The whole system called geothermal power plant which fullfill the need of electricity in less cost because it is natural process to produce electricity in mechincal if govrnment take action of this the electricity will become cheaper without high taxes and prices. The country will become developing production of low cost electricity per unite because low budgat will require for electricity this wil cause the development of that country.
