IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given diagram illustrate that how electricity is produced by geothermal energy.

Overall it contain 5 different phases which started from cold water and ends on electricity produced and store in generators.

initially the cold water pumped down about 4.5 kilometers and then it reached to the second step which is injection well.The water suffered through hot rocks and then reached to third step and it is production well and it converted into hot water and then it pumped to the uper side. The water reached in condenser which is the fourth poin of whole process and then it converted into steam. Then in next phase the steam transferred into turbine which produce electricity and then finally it stored in generators which supply electricity through different ways.

The first and third step are contrats to each other in sense of pumping water and according to the temperature of the water.
