IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
the graph shows the method that we can use to produce the electricity by geothermal energy.
the process consist on 5 parts. first of all is we dug a well, the depth of well is almost 4-5km range, in which we inject the cold water.
2nd step is the cold water that we used is mixed up with the hot rocks zone they react with the available elections and it produced the hot water.
3rd steps in which the production of hot water is starts then it pumped up into the condenser this where Steam is started and all the steams gathered in the condenser and started to operate in it.
4th steps is All the gathered steams are Compressd and all the electrons are reacted in the turbine generator. when the generator starts the steams operations start manage to produce the electricity. the engine start producing the electricity and it transfer into electric poles through the wires.
in summary i can say that there are alot of water are require to produce the electricity. it is usually a expensive method and not followed by official. its cost high relatively others
