IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The illustration depicts generation of electricity through geothermal energy process

The 5-step process begin with cold water pumping down into earth and process ends with making current with the help of turbine. It is achived by high temperature underground zones which helps to generate heat that further converted to useful energy.

The process starts with sending cool water using pressure pump into a genothermal area whre hot stone present, from their it is connected to the production tank where it is again pumped upwards where the nex process begins.

In the fouth stage the hot liquid is compressed and where it is coverted into vapour, and then the vapor is then processed by using turbine, which continue the next stage by generating the power.

By the process the current generated through the geothermal process, which makes large amount of electricity, where it is stored and distributed to various location for further use.
